Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor

So conveniently located in such a special building - we had the room with the rooftop bath/jacuzzi - views were very cool. The staff were so kind and helpful - and a special shout out to Iro in the restaurant who made our stay extra special - we can’t wait to tell people to go there. Also - so close to everything without being in the busy area - loved it!

Staff was excellent. Room was clean. Helen and staff was very helpful about things to do and area around. Hotel is very centralized in town.

Everything was great! Very well located, clean. Staff very helpful! The bed is up against the wall so that was the only slight inconvenience. But no problem really! A great choice overall

Amazing stay. Staff was super helpful. Breakfasts were delightful, especially when we discovered that we could order Greek yoghurt, drizzled with honey and with diced fruit. Very refreshing and a perfect beginning to the day. Location is perfect. Parking is a real challenge but we got lucky almost every day finding street parking relatively close by. In short, absolutely wonderful experience.

The Monastery Estate Hotel in Chania exceeded all our expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — some of the best service we’ve experienced. The best thing about this hotel was the staff- very polite, helpful and friendly. I wish this was the standard around the world. A very big thank you to you all for looking after us. We stayed in the new part of the building- which unfortunately is still being built. The food is amazing- Breakfast lunch dinner à la carte- very delicious. Hot tub in some of the rooms/bathroom-did not try. Overall the hotel is in a very good location and deserves the 5*.

The hottest ever

Words truly cannot describe how much I loved our stay at Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor in Chania. It’s the perfect place to stay right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charming shops and incredible food. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a lovely private outdoor area with a hot tub, such a relaxing touch. What truly made our experience unforgettable though, were the two concierges, Maria and Vaggelis. They were the most accommodating, kind, and genuinely sincere hotel staff I have ever encountered. Every time my husband and I came downstairs, one of them would greet us with a warm smile and friendly conversation. They recommended the best restaurants in town and made us feel instantly at home. We were only in Chania for three days, but I would have gladly stayed longer just because of them. Thank you, Maria and Vaggelis, for making our honeymoon as magical as it was. We can’t wait to return one day!

Everything about our stay was superb - the room, the service (morning breakfast & room cleaning) and especially the front desk personnel and their very personalized attention to our requests for information, advice and assistance. We would definitely stay at the Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor when visiting Chania again.
