This is the third time staying at Grand Senyum. The room is spacious and the twin bed is large. The location is in the city center, near Tugu Jogja and within walking distance to Malioboro.

I stayed here for 6 days. The place is comfortable, close to the monument, has hot water, and air conditioning. The staff is friendly. If you need laundry, they can help you. When you want to go home, they carry your things. For the price of around 100 rupiah, it's very worth it.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay complete with dinners in the restaurant, cocktails, massages, gym use, and swimming in the pool. The Phoenix is a beautiful hotel. Lovely, clean, spacious rooms. The staff are all wonderful too. I can't wait to go back!

My first time staying at Hotel Rene, and my overall rating was excellent. I recommend it for my next trip to Yogyakarta. The staff were all friendly, and even arriving at 1 a.m. still received excellent service. The place was clean, with a soft bed and complete amenities. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Tugu Yogyakarta Station.

Top service (friendly, responsive, homely, polite). The atmosphere is also calm and serene. Perhaps it would be more fitting if the hotel's sound system included classical Javanese music at certain times, to give it a Jogja feel. (Since I was room-only, I couldn't review the menu.)
