The Grand Palm Hotel in Pematang Siantar is a classy hotel with a great value. I booked a superior king-bed room online for 372,000 Rupiah, and I think it was well worth it. The room was comfortable, with fast Wi-Fi, and two bottles of mineral water, along with sachets of sugar, tea, and coffee were provided.
The only downsides were the bathroom—the shower head was a bit low, and the night air was quite quiet (perhaps comfortable for some, but for those who prefer a lively atmosphere, it was a bit too quiet).
The hotel has a garden that creates a cool and relaxing atmosphere, and a swimming pool, which is a plus. It's strategically located in the city center, close to coffee shops and the Siantar Zoo. I was quite satisfied with breakfast, as in addition to the main course, there were also snacks like sliced fruit, fried snacks, and cakes.
Overall, this is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in the city center with complete amenities.
