My first two-night stay at Ambarukmo. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue, but the staff immediately resolved it. The kids' activities were really helpful, including the playground, swimming pool, and other play areas.
The hotel is located next to a mall, about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but it's not that far.
I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The location is very strategic for young people who want to go to Jogja, near Gejayan, access to the station, Jakal, UGM-UNY, Seturan, Condong Catur is close, if you want to go to the mall you can go to Lippo Mall Plaza which is very close, the area around the hotel is complete starting from a 24-hour pharmacy, many restaurants & cafes that are open until the evening, the environment is safe

Staying at PORTA by The Ambarrukmo truly provided an extraordinary and memorable experience from arrival to check-out. The comfort continued into the room, which was very clean, fragrant, and neatly arranged. The soft mattress and pillows successfully ensured maximum sleep quality, plus all the in-room facilities were very complete and functioned perfectly. Another attraction not to be missed is swimming or simply relaxing on the What the Deck area while enjoying the view of the city of Jogja—and Mount Merapi on a clear day—in the afternoon, it felt very calming. As for culinary matters, breakfast at Havene Restaurant was very satisfying with a variety of local and western menu options, all of which were delicious. The location is also super strategic on Jalan Colombo, making it very close to the campus area (UGM/UNY), culinary centers, and easy to reach if you want to go out of the hotel. The entire experience was enhanced by the incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive staff, making everything feel efficient. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for staycations, family vacations, or business trips because the price is commensurate with the facilities and services provided. I will definitely stay at PORTA again when I visit Jogja again!

The rooms are nice and comfortable. But honestly, the best part is all the activities they have. It’s basically like a water park inside the hotel! Most of the pools are free, and there’s always something to do. It’s seriously one of the best family hotels in Yogyakarta. The cool thing is that adults have just as much fun as the kids. You won’t get bored here. Great place for families, really worth it!

Very memorable stay here. Locate strategies near malls and close to everywhere. Fast room service. The staff is very friendly, especially Mrs Rani who is very kind 😊🙏. Prices are also affordable. A great staycation in the heart of the city! I absolutely love staying here because it's just a short walk to Malioboro or Tugu Monument. Finding food is also a breeze, as there are plenty of culinary delights nearby. The service is top-notch, and the staff are very responsive. The breakfast selection is also extensive, so you won't get bored. The best part is the quick check-in process and hassle-free parking. My room had a street view, which was a great way to see the city of Jogja. I'll definitely be back!

The lobby is modern and offers a relaxing atmosphere. My room was clean, well-lit, and the bed was soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The air conditioning worked well, the Wi-Fi was stable enough for both work and streaming, and the bathroom was well-maintained. Throughout my stay, housekeeping regularly cleaned the room, ensuring a comfortable stay upon returning. The hotel's location is also a highlight, as it's close to numerous restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, and easy access to the Malioboro area and Yogyakarta's universities. At night, the hotel's surroundings are lively but not too noisy, making it a pleasant place to rest. The breakfast menu each morning is quite varied, with some of the local dishes delicious. I also enjoyed the hotel's restaurant area for relaxing in the evenings. Overall, my 5-night stay at this hotel was satisfying, making it perfect for a staycation or business trip in Yogyakarta.

Always love staying here, the check-in and check-out process is fast, the access is right in the middle of the city, close to the shopping center, opposite the hotel is a cinema, the staff are friendly, yesterday I got a room on the 5th floor which was very unique because the room theme was colorful, complete amenities, there was a mini fridge too, a kettle was also provided, comfortable and clean, great 🙂✌️
