The rooms are clean, nice, and have complete amenities. There's access to a clean and beautiful private beach. The breakfast variety is quite good and the food is delicious. It was a very pleasant stay. I'll be back again.

It's perfect for a family stay, as the hotel features a water park and is also close to shopping centers. The Astara Hotel is excellent, with very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast.

My son was greeted with balloons upon arrival. Coming on a weekend, there were fun activities in the pool area, including ice cream and sandwich decorating for the kids. And in the morning, there was Zumba. Oh my God, it was a truly enjoyable experience for our family, especially since it's close to Bekapai Park, making it easy to find late-night dining.

I had a really nice experience staying at the Ibis Hotel Balikpapan. The overall facilities are excellent, well-maintained, and very comfortable. As someone traveling for work, I was really impressed by the Wi-Fi—it was fast and reliable the entire time. The meeting room was also great—spacious, clean, and perfectly equipped for our needs. To top it all off, the food was absolutely enak! They served a delicious variety of meals that really hit the spot. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Balikpapan!

The hotel staff were very friendly, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. The location is also convenient, with the beach just behind it. The restaurant is also open, not only for breakfast but also for after-hours dining, making it convenient for guests to enjoy meals outside of breakfast hours or host events at the hotel restaurant.

Never disappointed when I come here, the hotel is close to the heart of the city, buying food is really easy, just choose, the staff is friendly and nice too, handling guests is also fast, doesn't make you wait long in the lobby, will come here again if I have business out of town 🤟😎

A very comfortable and quiet hotel with an old-world vibe. It includes a delicious and varied breakfast, smart TV (superior room upon request), children's and adults' swimming pools, and a gym. The staff are very friendly and genuinely serve and respect guests. The room views are beautiful. The AC is really cool, the room is clean. I stayed for 2 nights and the staff offered room service every 8:00. The security staff were also very good. Overall, the staff is really great.
