The hotel is on the waterfront only a short bus/tram ride to Centraal. The staff are polite friendly and engaging. The wood wood interior and plants give the hotel a chilled feel. The room is a good size, comfortable bed and a great bathroom. My room with a balcony overlooked the river, it was great to watch the sunset over central Amsterdam. A good selection at the buffet breakfast. I did not use the pool or wellness facilities, both looked great.

Hotel Jakarta was fantastic — a beautifully green, eco-minded hotel with a tropical/Polynesian vibe that feels like an oasis in Amsterdam. Stylish, calm, and genuinely memorable. I’d happily stay again.

An amazing experience from the interior design of the hotel overall, welcome to the jungle, the spacious rooms with a view, to the in house bakery and the food either in the restaurant or the bar on the 8th floor. Special mention of the pool with view over the river.
