Ramblas Barcelona

As the name implies, it’s right on the famous La Rambla. Booked 2 rooms, lady up front could have done a better job assigning the rooms. My daughter, SIL and grand baby (who needed a crib) ended up in the smaller room, while my husband and I got the bigger room. By the time we realized it, it was late into the night and have unpacked already. But, we shouldn’t have had to worry about that if the employee did her due diligence. No instructions on how to use the AC, WiFi info in the room was outdated. Asked for non-smoking room, but the hallways smelled like smoke. No body lotion was provided, shampoo & body wash were so small, I couldn’t tell which one is which. It’s a good thing we brought our own. These are the things that can be easily remedied since it’s related to simple customer service. The bed could use more pillows since the mattress was hard (no box spring), there were 2 pillows, we found a 3rd one in the closet/ dresser. They could use new warm blankets, the ones we got had seen better days, they’re mocha colored, it made them look dirty. I said “they” since our mattress were 2 twins pushed together to make a queen bed, they also made up the bed as twins, so my husband & I essentially had separate beds. Free breakfast was okay, just like any free breakfast, the spread was the same every day. They will pack you breakfast if you have an early flight, just let them know. Hoping this review will help someone decide or be better prepared when booking their stay.

Great location. A little noise from underground trains. But nice place to visit many sites by foot.

Room was clean and great place to stay very close to everything! Breakfast was good but cold even if u went right when it started. But overall we were happy!

Breakfast was good but opened at 8. Missed it most days as I had to be off on guided day trips.

The room was congested, and very small in size. The AC was not working properly too & the best part of the hotel is the location.

Location is great..other than lots of construction and not convenient for when you’re traveling with luggage because you couldn’t be dropped off in front of hotel. Elevators definitely need to be updated. Most of the time only one worked and must’ve had a sensor because it will close you which can be very dangerous.

The AC was giving out hot air as it was winter time. So no cool air.

Everything worked well. We had a large room with 4 beds. We loved our room for it being so spacious. The location is perfect. Close to metro station helps a ton.

Stayed for three night, room was clean and staff are amazing, they were friendly and very helpful with recommendations. Best thing is that you are near everything, shops and tourist attractions. Downside it can be noisy at night with music from the other buildings.

The guy at the registration desk was very rude to the group of guys ahead of me. Your hotel seems to be the poster child for Europeans being sick of the tourism. I get it, but you’re in the wrong business.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre and accessible for everything. Clean, comfortable, breakfast plentiful. fantastic balcony. Absolutely no complaints and would be happy to visit again.

Location was very good. Breakfast was good (for Europe). Room was good. Our room had a large terrace that had a great view. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Hotel is quite dated. No USB charging port. Bed and bedding very basic. However was clean
