It was a comfortable room with the necessities required for a short stay. I opted for this accommodation because it seemed like the best option in the areas around the hospital. Property was well located for my needs - attending to my child at hospital. On the positive side, room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. My initial issue was that room had a bad smell, smelt like the drains were bad and that smell kept the bathroom smelling foul. I decided not to report because focus was elsewhere. The shower was at medium heat, the water did not get very hot. No smart tv in the room. After a long day in hospital, I wanted to watch my streamed tv but that wasn’t an available option and no casting options either. For the price I think they can upgrade.

the bed was like a hard haystack with a topper on it.......... the table had uncleaned food marks on it! the coffee machine covered in dust as was the little kitchenette cove, not cleaned out otherwise a great concept, love the artwork, location but a good nite sleep and cleanliness is my priority so wont be returning.....

The location was amazing - so easy to grab the tram to dinner! Room was well set up and we had a lovely view of the parkland behind. My only negative is that it was a shower over bath - with some limitations in my mobility it was awkward to get in and out and I felt like I could easily slip using the shower.

We stayed for one night and absolutely would stay again. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. We had a brilliant view from the 4th floor out onto the parkland below. Blockout curtains kept the room perfectly dark and it was so quiet. I wouldn’t have known we were staying in the middle of Melbourne. It was fantastic to have access to the food court downstairs (part of the royal children’s hospital) which made for an easy dinner option. Parking was available but took a bit to find a park as it was quite full. But it was uncover and safe. Worth the extra cost to have it so readily available. Close to public transport and only a quick drive to the Melbourne zoo. Fantastic accommodation! We will be back!

I don't understand the previous rating "outstanding" which influenced my booking: the hotel is very basic, run-down, extremely inconvenient: you won't be able to have a coffee/tea properly - the space is tiny, the hotel wouldn't provide even with drinking water and you've got to pay $8 for a small bottle, the cups' sizes don't fit the machine, the bathtub plug missing so there's no point of having the bathtub in the first place, terrible lamps "shades" and switches, the windows facing the other wall so the blinds must be drawn at all times. The staff is friendly but that cannot compensate for the overall hotel quality

Unique motel walking distance to major hospitals. Rooms are clean, modern & filled with interesting art works, small kitchenette with microwave & coffee machine was appreciated. Excellent communication from staff & parking was available before check-in. Staff welcoming & helpful, we would stay again.
