Comfortable bed, quiet rooms, helpful staff

Cafe downstairs was excellent!

We stayed at Larwill as my son was having day surgery and we traveled to have it, the hotel was absolutely perfect being attached to the RCH hospital making it easy to park up and have our stay and not worry about getting to and from hospital, we even got a wheelchair lift back to the hotel! Perfect! The room was a good size, the beds were super comfy. The walls were not sound proof and your heard showers and people talking in the room next door, but not bad enough to say don’t stay. The Farmacy Cafe/restaurant onsite was lovely, great vibe, great food, would be good if room service available later, but food and service was great. It was a great stay.

Staff very helpful in offering recommendations

We had a beautiful couple of days at Larwill. The location is so convenient for getting around the city with the beautiful park on the doorstep with great walking tracks and access to trams on both sides. Considering the location being on Flemington road, the rooms are incredibly quiet and private. Thanks and will definitely stay again.

This is a great spot to stay in Flemington Rd. Great service, good food, easy parking and a comfy bed. Cant fault it.

I enjoy staying at the Larwill. Convenient, great location and very good facilities. On this particular stay my check in left a bit to be desired. I arrived well after the 2-00 pm check in time and was told my room wasn’t ready. I was ok with this as these things can happen but I was a bit disappointed when after being told they would let me know when my room was ready and they did not get back to me. It was only after waiting an extra half hour that I enquired at the desk was my room ready that they then swung into action.

Pros: Quiet, clean, stylish hotel. Neutral: Beds are extremely soft. Some people will find this luxurious, others will wake up with crazy back pain. Depends on you. Cons: No gym, few amenities. Overall 8/10 (regardless of however Hotels.com rates it!)

Friendly Staff, Easy access to Public Transport. So many restaurants and cafes just walking distance. Overall we are happy about our Stay....

Elevator smelled like someone urinated on the floor and it still had a pool or urine when my wife,toddler and I checked in and was the same when we returned after dinner.

The room had great views and was spacious.

A nice place to stay. The parking is confusing though as it was stated to go inside and check in first, however when checking in we were told to just enter and get a card and then you get a different one afterwards to leave. Not many dining options around, we found one but it was in the hospital next door which turned out to be closed. We then had to resort to using Uber eats.

Everything was nice and friendly, the hotel really had great rooms and staffs were all great! Will be back in our next Melbourne stay.

Made an early morning children’s hospital appointment so hassle-free. Everything from parking to check in was straightforward and close together. Easy access to the Tullamarine freeway (tolled) for our escape to the country afterward. We stayed a Sunday night and the restaurant wasn’t open, but we got to the hospital food court by 5:30 and had Japanese for dinner. If we were much later, the option was McDonalds or have to explore other options locally. Also, we parked using the hospital car park (still opposite the hotel entry) with entry after 4pm/exit before 8am for $9 otherwise it’s pricey. Parked around the corner on Gatehouse St for free for our remaining 2hours at the hotel. The nature playspace beside the hospital is fantastic btw. Great breakfast at the cafe, again at the hospital food court. The shower was not the best I’ve had, but as a lovely, clean and comfortable hotel with bonus city lights from the window sill this was a great experience. We will be back.

We came across a problem with our bank the staff here work with us and got things sorted it was not there job to do so they went out of their way to help us well done to all of the staff we will be back again 10/10

Great value, clean and spacious

Very modern, very soundproof, very comfy bed and pillows

The room was lovely and clean, the beds were super comfy, couldn’t fault the room at all. Upon arrival we were given our coupons for the breakfast I had paid for while booking, unfortunately there was no pre warning that there would be no breakfast due to kings birthday, the alternative didn’t work for our needs. Upon checking out is where our issues arose, we were told we had been charged $100 for the breakfast on our first morning but they could also see that we had prepaid during booking for breakfast and couldn’t explain why we were now being charged more for breakfast. Told we would be contacted about this mishap but have yet to hear anything back and still have not received our $100 bond back. The communication between the Farmacy and the hotel is horrible, the Farmacy isn’t open for lunch or dinner over the weekend and we were also informed by other guests that it wasn’t even available Friday night which they weren’t told about and had to find alternatives which isn’t a whole lot for the area

It was exactly as pictured, loved the art and deco in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ample parking available that could be used and charged at a daily rate. Quiet and safe family friendly accommodation, public transport available. Short drive to the city.
