Great value hotel. Restaurant expensive. Short walk to cross river ferry to catch city cat. Walk to Story Bridge hotel.

I really love staying at The Point and this was my fourth stay here. The location is beautiful and is super safe as a solo traveler. I loved the full breakfast which was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Staff are all really friendly and helpful.

THIS HOTEL IS A CONSTRUCTION SITE! Avoid this hotel for the next 6 or so months it takes them to complete the renovations. I was put in a room next door to a construction site of renovations. Got woken up at 6:30am from the construction staff with drilling, pumping and their music playing loudly. And that goes on all day. Cannot believe there was no warning on the website or anywhere in the hotel about all of the noise. They should be charging half the price during their renovation period as well. I told the reception when checking out and there was no offer to refund all/part of my accommodation. Don’t give this hotel your email or phone number as they will spam you with 20 emails and texts before you even check in! I asked to unsubscribe when checking in, yet by the time I got back to my car, they had already messaged me with spam about their restaurant. Absolute joke of a hotel. Also when I checked in, there was no record of my booking because of their system that matches bookings to their database - clearly useless. It took 3 workers 15 minutes to work it out

Great weekend, hotel staff fantastic. Especially Mariana in the restaurant. The air conditioner which we couldn’t regulate so the temp was comfortable to sleep was far too hot even on 20o and we couldn’t get it lower. But apart from that it was brilliant

The room was spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. Didn't have breakfast there but had a fabulous coffee. Great location, excellent facilities, very helpful staff

The room smelt and desperately needs a bathroom update. Couldn’t use pool or roof top bar but was still charged normal rate. Staff amazing. Very disappointed with our stay. Not sure we will stay again. We had breakfast last day it was fine but certainly not worth $52 a head.

Staff were good although they sent me a 20% off voucher but didn’t mention it when they said it was $52 for breakfast .. crazy price btw.. Definitely above average for the area and what’s on offer ..

Location was ideal for a short scenic walk to the CBD.

Great stay! Close to ferry and city

Overstay for hospital visit. Things were ok for purpose of stay.

The Junior Suite was wonderful - spacious, very comfortable bed and terrific bathroom and bath tub. The shower nozzle was a bit hit and miss but everything else was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful and I definitely appreciated the upgrade and complimentary drinks. I’ve marked down the amenities but that is only because the renovations have limited them. I always return to this hotel when the deals are good.
