Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown

Even though this hotel is Located in the downtown area, this was maintained very well and has clean rooms and good amenities nearby. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. I suggest this place to stay for my friends and families.

The staff was always helpful until we checked out and discovered we may have been in contact with bed bugs during our stay. I emailed hotel with photos of the bites we experienced, they gave a standard generic reply that once current guests checked out they would conduct an inspection. A couple days later I received a reply that there “professional pest control” team completed their investigation and nothing was found. I had follow up questions for piece of mind but have since been ignored. Use caution if booking here. It’s expensive and even more expensive if you have to remediate your luggage and house when you return home.

Entrance was at the back of the building (weird). Easy check in, stayed in the North tower (not sure if all Expedia rooms are over there). Classic hotel experience, clean, nice beds, A/C worked great. Towels smelled of bleach :( Plug in bathtub leaked when tub was filled. Mini fridge was TINY. Could barely fit a large water bottle (on its side) and a takeout container. No pool here. No free breakfast. Only for Marriott premium members or something (gone are the days of continental breakfast with your stay). Location was fine, about a block or two from subway access. Could grab a bus a block away as well but much less often. Food/cafes in the area were alright, not a whole lot of great options nearby for us personally. Overall a good stay, wasn’t blown away but good!

Nice hotel, but the location isn’t ideal, unless you’re a college student looking for a party area.

I stayed for a night & was fine. A typical 2-3 stars hotel. Decent room size.

This hotel was located in a great area. Housekeeping never pestered us to leave so they could clean but our room was clean every night we returned. I really liked that. The café in the lobby was good but had unusual hours. It would have been nice to grab a bite to eat before leaving for the day. Besides those minor things, I enjoyed my time there and would likely return.

Excellent location, room was spacious, easy access to public transit

The check-in was super-smooth, the room was great and nice and quiet, the gym was terrific, and the lobby bar was ace!

It was a good stay!

It was okay for a weekend stay. The room had a slightly damp smell. Parking at the hotel was expensive but at least there are cheaper options nearby.

We were there for a concert and stayed only one night. The bar was closed by the time we returned from the concert at 12:45 am. We would have liked complimentary breakfast. Valet parking was great. Check-in was good too. Security was excellent. Not far from subway.

middle age chinese lady Bartender excellent but the drinks were watered down. no hot water in my sink. little to no conceirge service for tourists who didnt know toronto. for what i spend Overall i was not impressed

Great location and fab hotel

Friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. Nice little bistro. Cleaning staff were great. This is my second time staying here and I would definitely stay again. Location is amazing and walking distance to everything

The staff here is top notch. Friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a great area, just an older building and was very pricey. Other than that, it was wonderful.
