The location was good, a bit outside of the centre but close to the Galloping Goose Trail (to walk or bike to the centre). The size of the room was good. Having a small kitchen gave options to always going to a restaurant. It was very hot when we stayed so it was good that there was an AC even though it is on the noisy side. It was nice to have breakfast, however we found it was very basic. It would have been nice to have at least one warm option, as we have seen in other places we stayed that offered similar type of breakfast. Nothing fancy but something like scrambled eggs and/or breakfast sausages or patties... Also to provide small containers of spread cheese not just jam and peanut butter. Finally maybe also another option to just currently sliced bread (english muffins or bagels) - like we usually see in other places. In terms of the room itself, while the bathroom seems to have been renovated, and the bed was firm and nice, the rest of the furniture was clearly old and shabby, the carpet was old and there was a musty scent. The outside also looked old and a bit run down. Clearly the place had seen better days. In conclusion, although we were a bit disappointed compared to what we expected from the website and reviews, for the price it was OK. But just OK.

The standing lamp didn't work. There wasn't any outlet on the night tables where to plug in the phones. The only one was on the wall at the end of the bed. The breakfast didn't have any variety only muffins, toasts, boiled eggs, cereals and yogurt. No sausages, bacon pastries, cheese, etc.

This property was okay,but has seen better days. Scuffed paint, a definite nicotine smell in our room and the cleanliness was so so. The breakfast was fine and probably the best part. Lots of road noise and I didn't feel particularly safe. Feel it is rated too high and definitely not worth the amount I paid. Disappointing

We were very impressed with our stay. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The complementary breakfast was also more than we expected. We didn't use the complementary bikes or kayaks but appreciate the fact they were there and will keep that in mind for another trip.

It is not well signed, so you have to take a guess as to where your room is. Garden view is a view of some trees. Rooms are interesting, but lack logic. (Ie. nowhere to charge your phone by the bed).

As an older property, I was a little worried pulling up that the outside had been freshened up but the rooms wouldn’t be well-maintained. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a mix of the basics, with the coffee machine being the shining star for a large variety of selections. The quality of the room and bed were great and updated bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel is so clean and completely redone inside of our room. The staff were really nice! The breakfast was good and they had a nice variety of choices. They offered free EV charging, which we used each night. This place is a great place for the money! I was so impressed. We had just stayed at an expensive hotel in the U.S. and it wasn’t nearly as clean. I recommend this place it’s a great choice!
