Always a great place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, comfy beds and pillows , great location!

There is no doubt this is an older hotel/motel. The rooms are small but very well organized. The only addition I would say is a chair in the bedroom. They have taken on the challenge of recycling and do it very well. The breakfast is simple but ample. They have a pillow menu, the towels were fluffy, bright white. And the amenities were well chosen and complete the emphasis on clean organic and recycling. There is a"great room" with multiple televisions, a pool table and nice seating, and outside were well place picnic tables. To get into the great room you must use your key and thus we were protected from strangers joining us for breakfast. The two coffee machines offered a full range of choices and was good quality. The coffee available all day. I found this a good choice for the small group we were hosting. The mix of conserving a lovely old motel and still offering high quality "new" amenities without moving to a boutique hotel. Any requests were quickly done. Or one error in the reservations were that our request for a dog freindly room was not received but we got it any way without being charged.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at Robin Hood, need I say more! Staff are efficient and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. The building is quiet. It is central for most things, and close to some lovely walks along the Gorge. And breakfast is included!

Overall great. Parking access a problem due to congestion on streets. Wasn’t hotel’s fault just location and area density

Very nice place to stay

Fast courteous check in Nice clean establishment. Walking distance to great food. I was told about the hospitality room for breakfast. Offered if I required a taxi for the morning and booked it for me.

Great location, good value

I would not recommend this hotel based on our recent stay. The property is outdated and appears poorly maintained, particularly the pet-friendly rooms. The carpets were old, worn, and had a musty odor. The furniture showed significant wear and tear, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations for the price charged. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were extremely hard, resulting in neck discomfort during our stay. Upon arrival, we also noticed that the shampoo and conditioner containers were only partially filled. Additionally, despite having four registered guests in our room, only two towels were provided. The most concerning aspect of our stay was an interaction with an individual who identified himself as a staff member named KEVIN. At approximately 8:30 a.m., he aggressively knocked on our door and immediately accused us of failing to declare our dog. He spoke in a loud and confrontational manner and pointed his finger at my husband while making accusations. Kevin further alleged that we had taken our dog outside at 1:00 a.m. and allowed it to relieve itself on the grass. We said we had been in our room since 7pm and were asleep at the time he referenced. We even suggested that management review the CCTV footage to verify our statement. Our well behaved dog was properly declared during the online booking process, disclosed again at check-in, and was charged a pet fee. We hope that public & management most especially be more aware about this.

We just returned home from a weekend in Victoria. We chose to stay at the Robin Hood Inn & Suites because of other people's recommendations. We were not disappointed. The whole property is very old and yet the owner's have worked hard at making it comfortable and pleasant. We stayed in a King suite. The bed was very good and the linens were excellent. The room was clean with an updated bathroom. Make sure that you put the rubber mat down in the shower as the shower is very slippery. I wish someone had told me that as I had a bit of a slip on the first day using it. The breakfast was nice. There were apples, hard boiled eggs, cereal and oatmeal, hot chocolate, muffins, yogurt and a nice pancake machine. We checked out at 6:00 am to go to the airport and they even offered to open up the breakfast room for us which was a very kind offer. Thank-you for the nice stay.

Had a lovely stay over three nights here. My room was quiet and clean, no issues at all during my stay. The only thing is that the parking lot can fill up pretty quickly. Other than that, I recommend it.

We had a great stay at Robin Hood Inn & Suites. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short trip to Victoria. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient, with easy access to downtown and the main attractions. The parking was also helpful and made our stay easier. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, and I would recommend this place to other travellers.

You will like the “Great Room” to play pool or watch one of 4 TV’s. There’s also a piano in the great room. Continental breakfast with a pancake maker.

Room cleaning after 3 nights which is great but they didn’t clean the bathroom. Found someone’s underwater under bed. Breakfast was very basic. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location, with lots of green space.

We love it here. The breakfast has significantly improved since last year. The e-bikes are the biggest selling point for us and save us hundreds of dollars in bike rentals or parking. Staff is always super friendly and tools are hreat

Great place to stay…outside is a little dated but the massive tree and landscaping is beautiful. Rooms were clean. And suites were very handy. Great price for a great location. Breakfast was good and there was even an outdoor garden with picnic tables. Plus you can’t beat the free kayaking and bikes!!

The location of the property is very close to the Galloping Goose cycle trail! Awesome! The on site laundromat was helpful. The outside of the building is showing some age but the rooms have been renovated and are clean. The beds and bathroom are clean and comfortable.
