Fabulous location and very warm, welcoming staff. Room very clean and well appointed. Bar and restaurant not very inviting and we’ve never used during our stays at this hotel as outside options are so close and more appealing.

Hotel is in a great location for the city. It was clean, staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast choices were good and the food was very nice. Room a bit tired. Biggest issue was that the air conditioning was ineffective, even turned down to the lowest setting. I’m sure not a problem most of the time but this was an especially hot night.

Paid £50 to have my 2 small dogs stay with me for 1 night in a dog-friendly room. But then was told by reception staff that, because I booked through Expedia, I was not entitled to a water bowl or bed for them - which I would have been had I booked direct. Madness. Also not impressed with car parking - run by an ANPR company with hefty fines, even for hotel residents.

Hotel was wonderful! Great area easy to find. Close to everything. Breakfast was wonderful and even had gluten free options. The front seat was wonderful as well and always very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Well located hotel. Robert on reception was very helpful & knowledgeable. However, there were a number of things that annoyed me. No shower cap, no face washer, no rubbish bags in the bins. Different person's name on the welcome on the tv which couldn’t be changed. The bedding was uncomfortable, didn’t seem to fit very well. In the bar I tried to put my meal on my room but couldn’t because I hadn’t been asked for a credit card when I checked in. Was able to pay by cash even though on Expedia it said the hotel was cashless!
