This Hilton Hotel is superb! The reception desk people were so helpful. The room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the cricket ground, which is why we booked to stay there. Beefy's restaurant on the upper ground floor of the hotel was exceptional both for dinner and breakfast. One thing we would have appreciated in our room was a small refrigerator to keep wine, water and milk cold

Room not available at 15.00hours restaurant, no ice bucket for champagne no cheese for dessert offered just biscuits fire alarm at 1am .no fire fault on board reports of regular smoking in rooms. On good side good response from manager to concerns and complaints fantastic view of cricket on balcony best we've ever had .

You are guaranteed a good night sleep at a Hilton and this hotel did not disappoint. As I went for the ICC Women’s Cricket the hotel was pretty full so I had an ‘Accessible room’ which meant that the bathroom was a wetroom with a shower curtain - not a fan of shower curtains! Other than that I was really pleased that the room was well equipped for guests with specific requirements and that really warmed my heart as it was modern, stylish and gave the sense of luxury …just what you want when away from home! The staff were all super friendly and helpful in every area of the property. I will definitely visit again!!

Good location for pre-cruise stay. Excellent views over golf course or cricket ground. Expensive bar prices as you would expect. Food in Beefy's ok. Room large and spotless. What really let it down was the chaos at breakfast. Large queues waiting for tables whilst there were many tables in the restaurant which needed clearing etc. Not as efficient as it could have been.

This is a very lovely hotel, set in beautiful surroundings. We were ecstatic that the room was ready several hours before the standard check-in and we were allowed to go straight to it. The room was large, very clean and the views were soothing. The staff were exceptionally friendly. My only complaint is that when booking in I was verbally told my room number, even though it was written on the card. Due to issues all over the news recently it may be worth retraining staff re security for guests.

We recently stayed at this hotel after breaking down on our journey. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make our first night and phoned the hotel to explain the situation. The woman we spoke to didn’t seem very interested or concerned, and we were disappointed that nobody even asked if we were okay given the circumstances. When we finally arrived the following evening around 5:30pm, the staff there were friendly and welcoming, and the stay itself was pleasant. However, the lack of empathy and customer care during our initial phone call left a negative first impression. Overall, the hotel itself was fine, but better communication and understanding in situations like this would really improve the customer experience.
