Room clean staff nice mattress very hard & uncomfortable pillows also not a great night sleep

The room was lovely, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable which meant i didn't sleep well at all (i even left a night early due to the bed situation). The hotel was lovely and the staff were so helpful & kind but me and my mum didnt enjoy the food either.

This isn’t our first stay at this Hilton. It has been excellent again. Reception staff were super helpful. Restaurant was excellent also.

Check in at this hotel was straightforward. The room was comfortable, although the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The view over the cricket pitch was excellent. As a group of 8, which included 2 children, we had booked a table in the restaurant. This is where the stay went downhill. Our booking was for 5pm and the restaurant was relatively quiet at that this time. The service left a lot to be desired, with staff who were lacking in any personality and totally disinterested in the people they were serving. The main meals were good but we waited for a long time to be offered anything else. Eventually, we asked for the dessert menu as it was obvious no one intended to ask if we wanted this. We had given the staff a birthday cake and candle for a 4 year old in our party and, when the desserts were brought to our table, the cake was also just put down on the table. There was no candle and no attempt to make this special for our little man. The desserts were unsatisfactory, with stale crackers on the cheese board, an upside down ice cream cone with mini marshmallows described as a S’mores dessert and a crumble that was nothing special. At no point throughout the meal did anyone check in with us. A service charge was added to the bill and, although we paid this, we did not think that the service warranted this charge. A very disappointing experience that did not stand up to the Hilton name.

Our ‘deluxe’ room was tired and scruffy lacking basics like a mirror over the dressing table, only one chair, no toilet brush, rotten bathroom doorframe, no fridge, hard mattress and no bath. Access to the spa was extortionately priced and the opening hours limited. With the exception of reception staff on morning of our departure and a helpful barman, the staff were sullen and disinterested. Our little grandson’s birthday cake was plonked on the table in front of him without the candles and sparklers we provided and no knife, plates or serviettes. My starter and main course were good but took a long time to be served. My cheese and biscuits were awful. Biscuits were stale and the cheese tasteless and grapes which were shrivelled. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. The view from our room was also lovely. Parking was difficult as we had to park at some way back in the car park which was heavily flooded in at least two parts. All in all, a disappointing stay for the amount of money we spent as a family.

Room was very good very clean, however room service was a tad bit expensive. £15. For a egg and cress sandwich

Beds were too hard. Pillows were awful. No body in them at all completely flat. Dreadful nights sleep.

Breakfast was amazing everything that you could want . Only issue , instant coffee served. Room big and bright . You need to bring your own water for kettle.

Me gustó mucho el concepto del hotel por estar fuera de la ciudad y dentro de un campo de cricket. También tiene un campo de golf. Es un hotel bonito, elegante y muy confortable. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para quien le guste descansar del ruido de la ciudad porque se encuentra como a 20 minutos del centro de la ciudad en automóvil
