Point A London Paddington

Good cold breakfast selection pastries fruit cold meats ans cereals. There’s a Gregg’s across the road too if you’d prefer that and a pret down the road. Staff were amazing - as helpful and friendly as a 5 star hotel! Really excellent. We stayed 3 nights so didn’t qualify for a room clean - clean towels could be sourced from the front desk and rubbish could be left outside your door in the corridor for collection by the cleaning staff. Which meant the corridors were untidy especially in the mornings. Location is good just a few minutes walk from Paddington station but being ear plugs there is a large hospital nearby so lots of ambulance sirens during the night. Rooms are cozy as described luggage is stored under the bed and wall hooks replace a wardrobe

The bathroom was inferior. There was not enough room to enter the shower. The positioning was horrid. I asked if we could be relocated to another room but it was not possible. I booked a stay at Mecure in Paddington where I had stayed previously. My son stayed at Point A but showered at my hotel after burning his arm on the metal bar between the faucets in the shower at Point A. This was the first time I have been disappointed in a room I have booked through Expedia.

room was tiny, and the TV was so close to the end of the bed that you could barely fit between the bed and the wall. Good location. Never charged to store luggage before check in at other hotels.

The rooms are compact and modern but very clean attractively and cleverly layout. Very nice bathroom. Halls equally clean and modern as the lounge areas are. The breakfast looked great very fresh - good coffee , stylish flexible seating too. We would stay there again .

The breakfast menu was delicious but I think more varied hot drinks should be offered including decaf coffee and hot chocolate. The tv in the rooms should be upgraded to include digital channels including sky etc. The staff were amazing! Very welcoming and friendly.

Close to paddington station. Room was small but did the job. Staff was helpful and breakfast area was clean and sufficient.

I would not stay here again. The property is fairly new but it is cheaply constructed and appointed. Beds were uncomfortable. Extremely uncomfortable. But the major problem was the noise! We could hear the subway moving beneath the hotel every 5 minutes. Anytime anyone in a room above or on our floor even move we heard them. We heard every word, every snore, every door that was closed. Worst night of sleep in a long time.
