Food both nights same chef terrible,1st night got steak and chips steak not well done chips well over cooked rock hard,2nd night fish and chips took a hour then they had to re do the fish but instead of re doing the chips they fried same chips again and onions ring rock solid no potatoe left in chips onions rock hard,room carpet not clean couldn’t walk on it with foot wear family room a joke rammed 3 beds into one room couldn’t two people couldn’t pass each other no room

The staff were friendly, but I did not have breakfast. The bathroom looked clean, and the sheets on the bed were fresh. However, the carpets felt very dirty, and overall, the hotel lacked proper maintenance and cleanliness. I tried to use the fitness centre, but neither the air conditioning nor the treadmill was working. I will not stay here again.

Dirty and hot as hell, I guess that is why the theme colour is red carpets (turning black). Staff will lie to your face to get you away from the desk. I was booked for two nights and decided to cancel the next night. The "lady" at the desk said no problem and took my email to send the receipt the next day. Of course that never happened. Just pay the 3.50 to park for 12 hrs and sleep in your car it will be far cleaner and safer.

The room I was given had one double bed, and two single beds, it is meant to be just right for one bed. There was no space to walk around. The room was extremely hot, with no air conditioning. Also, the window was jammed. There was one fan which couldn't keep the room cool. I felt suffocated all night, unable to sleep duas to the heat. No water 💦 bottle in the room, upon asking, I was told to get water from the bathroom. Not recommended to anyone. Not worth the cost .

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. We didn't use the restaurant as breakfast was more expensive than going to the services. It was quiet and excellent air conditioning as we were still in a heatwave.

Th corridors smelt unfresh an when mentioned they did spray some air fresher as suggested, but that only masked th smell cos following day smelt just as bad. Obviously not particularly clean. Still good value at £40 a night (Sunday )

Hotel is very run down and rooms are extremely tired and grotty. Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. There was air conditioning in the reception that was working and units installed the rooms with control panels but were not working. Their explanation was that the pump or condenser was not working. The windows have limited opening and open onto the road which is loud. Some basic fans were offered but the overall attitude of the staff was apathy. As a customer I got the impression that the air conditioning was deliberately switched off to the rooms as why would it partly work to the reception but not to all the rooms. I don’t expect 5 star service at this price point. But it was the general attitude of apathy that was most disappointing

The hotel room was not clean. There was noticeable dust throughout the room and hair on the bathroom floor. The entire hotel lacked air conditioning, and to make matters worse, the fan in our room was not functioning properly
