Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities good, food options good with the services next door as well as the hotel restaurant/breakfast. Parking convenient and cheap. Rooms very basic but clean. Overall perfectly comfortable! Would recommend.

An excellent option for a quick overnighter while travelling up or down the country. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The bar / restaurant area looked perfectly clean and tidy, although we didn't use it. It is next door to themsim sevices building with multiple eating / snack purchaing ptions too. The services also has electric fast charge points a short walk from reception. Staff that we saw were warm and friendly.

As soon as we entered the hotel we noticed a horrible smell which was worse in the room and the corridors smelt like leaked sewage. I was given a room and ten minutes later two men entered with a key card and told me they had been given the room to which I went to reception and was told the last receptionist who had now left had made a mistake. The car park computer wasn’t working so couldn’t register my van but still charged £5 each night to park. All in all you’d be better off sleeping in your car.

I was charged an additional £5.00 for parking! That would be fine in a town but this hotel is in a motorway service station so I am not even sure it would be possible to get there by any other method. This means that I would count this as false advertising. Ramada would be better off just advertising the room at £5.00 more. It certainly left a bad taste with me. They do say that parking is charged somewhere but they hide it well! Reception area was nice. Shower was cold and heating rattle-y but I was at the end of a long corridor so other rooms might be fine. Room had been very well cleaned imo and bed linen was good quality and spotless. Local staff seemed good but run-down infrastucture and head-office stuff has put me off.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, But the hotel it’s not a nice place to stay, For the price I paid. The room was very dilapidated, most of the lights next to the bed didn't work, neither did the lamp on the other side of the room. To fill the kettle with water you had to take the kettle and a cup into the bathroom and fill the cup and then fill the kettle, WiFi was none existent in the room as their server kept crashing so there wasn’t any WiFi, and this made the card machine crash totally so you were unable to pay for any thing, The food was over priced and very poor quality and very small portions. Plus there are quite a few homeless people staying at the hotel.

One of the best service hotels we have stayed at. Room was a nice size, clean but could have done with a bit more dusting. No shower gel in the shower. We could have asked due some but things like this should be checked before letting out the room. However staff were very friendly. The restaurant served quite nice meals. Buffet breakfast is very good too. Love the black pudding. Definitely would stay here again. It's quiet considering it's at a service area. 8/10 from us.

It wasn’t a good stay for me. There was a foul smell, the hotel needs better maintenance. On my first night, the fur alarm went off early hours in the morning at about 2am for long disrupting my sleep and I didn’t get any explanation or even apology from the staffs. It does not feel like a hotel but an hostel.

This place is certainly looking a bit tired and shabby. Also, like so many hotels in or near service stations, signage for the entrance is very poor, and almost impossible to find at night.

Note: Have to pay just a small fee extra for parking. Basic, clean, smaller hotel room but very convenient right on the M40 on our way to Oxford from the airport. Nice to have to have the Welcome Break area just steps from our door for fuel, groceries and multiple food possibilities. The Welcome Break restaurant area setting was nice with big glass windows and some water features with outside tables.

I am wary of doing chain hotels but chose to stay here due to the location and the fact it boasted a "fitness facility". The location was convenient as it was sited at a Welcome Break services. I was able to park close to the entrance. I was warmly greeted but on checking in found out that there was a separate £5 charge for overnight parking which was not disclosed at the outset of booking the accommodation. There were multiple dining options either within the services complex or at the hotel restaurant. I over-indulged but was happy to work it off in the gym area. This turned out to be a delusional expectation as the fitness room comprised of a few hand weights which did not go up to more than about 5kg. I usually do cardio on the treadmill but the one they had there was not working so my attempt to work off excess calories was a bust. In certain parts of the corridors there was an aroma which felt more synonymous with parts of Amsterdam. I usually rate my stays based on the triumvirate criteria of shower, sleep and breakfast. The first two were great and the breakfast buffet quite average. I personally believe that this stay did not represent good value for money with the tipping point being the "gym". I would not look to stay here again.

No better than a Travelodge. No mobile reception so needed to use WiFi. The so called “free” wifi isn’t free if you have to give your full name, address, phone number and date of birth to use it! In this day and age, giving the world all your details is ridiculous.

I stayed for one night. The clean was poor specially the sink. No shower gel was provided, so it was good that I brought mine. The room was for 2 adults and one child, and I only had 2 towels. The worst part of all was the smelly of smoke and weed. It was so strong that it was like someone had smoked in the room. I had to open the window to be able to sleep.

I had a not so good experience. There was a foul smell, I requested for my room to be cleaned after use and the cleaners only emptied the bins, left the dirty towels from the previous day as is, didn’t change pillow case and more. I was so disappointed. On my last night, the fire alarm went off at about 11pm waking me from sleep in a panic with no direction of what am supposed to do. It was then I realised I didn’t have a telephone in the room to reach reception if I had an emergency in the room. The network signal is very poor. I had an overall bad experience and won’t be using this place again.
