This is a great place to stay in the Bloomsbury area of London, it’s a very central location. It’s easy to get to many attractions from here on foot, by bus or on the tube. The hotel itself is massive and the rooms may be a bit small but it’s very well staffed, has a great buffet breakfast and all the amenities you need. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Of the three of us staying in the room I’m the only one that had some wifi connection issues. This is my second stay here in 2 years and I’ll definitely stay again for our next visit. Rob N

This was a functional no frills hotel for a weekend stopover. It was clean and had excellent facilities, the breakfast was well worth the money and the staff were helpful and efficient. The location was very handy for the Russell Square tube and easy access to the Piccadilly line.A short walk from Euston Station. The rooms could benefit from aircon and more plug sockets...but the price was good for this location.

Decent hotel in a central location. I stay here often when on business. This time, the experience was not good. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The hotel is well kept and the staff are lovely. But the lack of air con is a significant drawback in summer.

It's ok. You get what you pay for. The location is convenient and the room is ok for a short visit. The building is rather old and the amenities too. It really could do with an upgrade. The building traps heat and during a heatwave not the best combination and there's no air conditioning and the tiny desk fan isn't that helpful if in a big room with multiple people. There's severe lack of electrical sockets and charging phones etc becomes difficult. As someone with mobility problems the bathtub was rather slippery. Additionally housekeeping did not leave us with loo rolls so we ran out. Good thing is that there are water refills in the lobby.

Handy location 10 min walk from Euston station and Russell tube station near by. Plenty of restaurants and local shops close by. Hotel room clean, comfy bed, only downside was the room was red hot over a scorching sunny weekend in london

Hotel does what it needs to do. It’s clean and tidy. Breakfast area a bit like a canteen. It could do with a better pub as the London pub is not relaxing to sit in after a long day out walking and is aimed at the younger generation. Could do with another bar for guests that would like to relax.

Clean room, great clean powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning during the heat wave, too soft pillows and thin walls. We unfortunately had people on our floor shouting down the corridors and slamming doors until well past midnight

Postivies- Clean room not too far from Euston Negatives- Only two charging points (one of which was for the kettle) in a room meant for 3 people Luggage storage had massive queues on check in and check out -staff said this was due to the number of rooms but I've never had this problem in bigger hotels - we didn't have time to waste so had to lug our bags around all day

This location is affordable with zero charm. It's very corporate looking. There were a lot of tour groups and high school groups staying here. Having said that, the location was great. The room was clean. The staff was very nice, there were only so many fans to go around. Keep in mind the rooms are stuffy and there is no air conditioning.

This hotel is enormous: judging by the large tour groups we saw there, it must cater to them. Despite this, rooms manage to stay relatively quiet, are clean and well kept up. Still, it's a pretty generic experience. The biggest downside is breakfast, which is very crowded and VERY noisy. For crowd control, a worker controls access to the room, and another assigns you a seat. It felt like cattle being herded.

WiFi was slow but overall a good stay. This is a quite busy hotel with lots of people. Also it is close to the Russell Square underground station which is good but you may have to transfer to another line pretty often in order to get to most places around London. So not a bad location but just keep that in mind!
