Just be aware that the rooms (at least mine) has no air conditioning although a fan is provided.

Great location in Canary Wharf, lovely restaurants and theatre an easy walk. Lots of green spaces and waterfront to explore. Rooms are clean, well maintained and have what you need, including blow dryers, ironing board and iron. Friendly staff and a well stocked snack bar at the front desk. Wonderful experience.

The room and building were lovely, the space was efficient and the staff were fantastic. But unfortunately none of that could overcome the lack of air conditioning. I’m sure that somewhere in the description I could have read about this, but it needs to be in bold and above the fold. It’s simply not a reasonable place to stay in the summer, unfortunately.

Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon.

Technically two separate buildings, so you may have to go outside to get to the gym or bigger/higher balcony. I had to move to another room one night because the lights in my room would not shut off.

Everything in this hotel is great - the staff, cleanliness, location, amenities - EXCEPT it has no air con (at least inthe room I was in). It was over 30 degrees in July when I checked in an with just a fan, I barely slept. Otherwise, the place is superb value for money. The staff were especially nice.
