It truly was an outstanding stay. I would rate it 6 stars if I could. The place was spotless and felt brand new, as if I was the very first guest there EVER, getting to use everything for the first time! The studio is modern, has a fully equipped kitchen, great TV, and the Dyson really helped navigate the heatwave. The lounge on the 12th floor is a great asset, with a great coffee machine. Great personnel at the front desk also. Already looking into booking my next stay there at the end of the summer!

This is just a great product. Loved the sustainable philosophy and partner products as well as the shared spaces. The too was hot during the night despite the fan, but we are having a heatwave and it didn’t spoil our stay. We loved it and will definitely return.

Lovely quite location in Canery Wharf only 5 mins from Jubilee Line. Plenty to do and see close by. Staff were lovely. We were there on the hottest week of the year and unfortunately no air con in rooms. Only fan which helped a bit. Too hot to leave window open. Therefore uncomfortable nights sleeping. There is a lovely seating area and lounge to sit around and free tea/coffee

The hotel was good, however the training of staff and their understanding of what is expected to get a receipt when you pay at the hotel varied wildly causing frustration and a 20 minute delay in checkout. The hotel also took full payment for the 5 night stay 24 hours before checkin which is not correct (although 1 member of staff thought it was as he claimed it was in their small print). The location of the hotel is fantastic and felt very safe with all the Canary Wharf security patrolling 24 hours a day.

This would be an amazing hotel if it was air conditioned but it's not. The room was 30 degrees even with the fan that was provided - it was too hot to sit in, too hot to sleep and the fan was too noisy to hear the TV. The bathroom was even hotter. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless it's winter. It's unfortunate because it really is fabulous otherwise.

Lovely spacious and clean rooms, very modern etc however no aircon / windows barely opened and during a heatwave the room was unbearable to sleep in. We propped open our door to let air in during the night and many others had to leave theirs open all night. Given the quality and age of the hotel, I would expect that they should have air-conditioning as standard and I would imagine that the majority of the summer would be very uncomfortable in those rooms given the limited airflow Additionally when we arrived at the hotel we were told that one of our rooms was upgraded and they proceeded to say that we could pay an additional charge to check in early. However we didn’t want to check in early. We just wanted to drop our bags off and when we came back, that room was no longer available so we were promised an upgrade and then it was taken away which we didn’t mind but we’ve preferred not to have been told.

Customer service is very poor. I asked for an early check out due to the heat. The staff told me I could check out, but they would not provide any refund for unused nights. They eventually offered to move me to another room on the other side of the building and provide a second fan. However this room was equally hot and they never actually provided the second fan! I have stayed at many hotels all round the world and have never encountered such levels of poor customer service and seeming lack of regard for the comfort of paying guests.

There is no air conditioning and the windows only open about 4-5cm. In addition there is a building site next door so, when you have the window open, you get noise and dust in. Customer service is non-existent. I asked for an early check out due to the heat. The staff told me I could check out, but they would not provide any refund for unused nights. Their laughable solution included that I should drink cold water and spend time in the business lounge which has air conditioning (think they forgot guests sleep in their rooms not the lounge)! They eventually offered to move me to another room on the other side of the building and provide a second fan. However this room was equally hot and they never actually provided the second fan! There are many other good aparthotels in Canary Wharf for similar price point that have air con and great customer service. Unless you want to pay Vertus Edit to stay in a room that is almost 30 degrees hot and have them tell you they won’t refund you (so you effectively have no choice but to stay in that type of heat) I would suggest looking at other options particularly during the summer months. I have stayed at many hotels all round the world. The non-existent customer service and total lack of regard for the comfort of paying guests means Vertus Edit is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

A relatively new property. Desk hosts were very friendly. The room clean, the property location good for walking around the wharf. The issue we had was 1) no air conditioning which meant we had to leave windows open and even the door ajar to get a breeze. That led to lots of noise out from the window. We heard from one other British couple that they too were too hot during their stay. 2) Billed as as a room for two, it was very cramped. Suitcases were an issue because of lack of space and even getting to the other side of the bed was a tightrope.

Rätt litet rum, som oftast i London. Fint med kök. Delat täcke är sådär. Man reser ibland med vän. Det bästa var 12:e våningen. Ett gigantiskt vardagsrum med soffor. Mycket stor terrass med soffor. Gratis kaffe där. Bra läge i affärsdistriktet med massor av grönt och soffor ute i området. Mycket nära ett jättestort affärscentrum under jord vid tunnelbanan.

Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber sehr sauber und neu, der Aufenthalt war sehr gut in Punkto Personal, Sauberkeit etc. Der einzige wirklich negative Punkt war die fehlende Klimaanlage, bei sommerlichen Temperaturen wurde es im Zimmer ziemlich heiß!

Stayed in the little studio, really light inside and not too small either, got little kitchenette and a decent size bathroom, loved the 2 mirrors with the lighting. Bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and soft. The room was clean and tidy when first going in. The fan in the room wasn't the best and it was a very warm weekend. However, fantastic location, and even a view of the river near by. Nice cafe and also restaurant/ bar on the ground floor. Delicious food and cocktails in the restaurant/bar. A quick and easy check in and check out process, with friendly staff. And not too far of a walk to public transport. Would definitely stay there again for another weekend away
