The location was tidy. The building and room is quite new. However the room got very hot especially on a warm day. The fan was a small and the power was low to cool the room.

Very clean, presentable hotel. Extremely hot room with no air conditioning meant we got very little sleep on a warm day in London. When we got back at midnight, the spotlights in the room turned on automatically and none of our light switches were functional to turn them off (or any other lights on) As guided during check-in, we contacted via WhatsApp but nobody answered. We then called the number and again nobody answered. We went downstairs where there was no attendant on reception and the security guard had to step in and flip the RCD in the fuse box to make our light switches work again. He asked us whether we had plugged lots in - as if using the plug sockets to charge our phones were to have caused it. On checkout we were asked how our stay was and just explained the temperature and light switches were frustrating - the receptionist immediately asked whether it was a case of flicking the switch in the fuse box… so it must be a common occurrence. Overall it’s a nice building but we will not be returning because of the experience.

Just be aware that the rooms (at least mine) has no air conditioning although a fan is provided. Otherwise, great room and location. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Great location in Canary Wharf, lovely restaurants and theatre an easy walk. Lots of green spaces and waterfront to explore. Rooms are clean, well maintained and have what you need, including blow dryers, ironing board and iron. Friendly staff and a well stocked snack bar at the front desk. Wonderful experience.

The room and building were lovely, the space was efficient and the staff were fantastic. But unfortunately none of that could overcome the lack of air conditioning. I’m sure that somewhere in the description I could have read about this, but it needs to be in bold and above the fold. It’s simply not a reasonable place to stay in the summer, unfortunately.

Brilliant stay. Can’t fault them. Great price, great location, great staff and great stay. 5 min walk from Canary Wharf jubilee line (runs through the night Friday and Saturday).

Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon.
