I really enjoyed my staycation here with my family. Even though the management has changed and it's no longer a Sheraton, the service remains excellent. The staff are all friendly, the food is delicious, and the rooms are quite clean and comfortable. I hope this can be maintained, and if possible, improved. Next time I'm in Yogyakarta, I'll definitely stay here again 🙂

My first two-night stay at Ambarukmo. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue, but the staff immediately resolved it. The kids' activities were really helpful, including the playground, swimming pool, and other play areas.
The hotel is located next to a mall, about a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but it's not that far.
I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

This was my first stay here. The staff were friendly, especially the restaurant staff, who were very good at serving breakfast. The menu was varied and delicious. The room was clean and had a sofa. Excellent, I'll stay here again if I ever come back to Yogyakarta.

Staying at PORTA by The Ambarrukmo truly provided an extraordinary and memorable experience from arrival to check-out. The comfort continued into the room, which was very clean, fragrant, and neatly arranged. The soft mattress and pillows successfully ensured maximum sleep quality, plus all the in-room facilities were very complete and functioned perfectly. Another attraction not to be missed is swimming or simply relaxing on the What the Deck area while enjoying the view of the city of Jogja—and Mount Merapi on a clear day—in the afternoon, it felt very calming. As for culinary matters, breakfast at Havene Restaurant was very satisfying with a variety of local and western menu options, all of which were delicious. The location is also super strategic on Jalan Colombo, making it very close to the campus area (UGM/UNY), culinary centers, and easy to reach if you want to go out of the hotel. The entire experience was enhanced by the incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive staff, making everything feel efficient. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for staycations, family vacations, or business trips because the price is commensurate with the facilities and services provided. I will definitely stay at PORTA again when I visit Jogja again!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. I booked a room for my honeymoon and received a free upgrade, probably because the room I booked was full, and the amenities were free. We booked a total of 4 rooms (3 Deluxe Twin Rooms and 1 Deluxe Double Room), and our stay at Grand Altuz Yogyakarta was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish, especially since we arrived during the high season two days before Eid. Prior to arrival, we were well-received for our requests for adjacent rooms and an extra bed. Considering the hotel was quite busy at the time, we were very appreciative that everything was ready at check-in, ensuring a smooth process. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff were friendly and communicative. One of the staff, Ardian, assisted us from the beginning, patiently and clearly providing information and updates regarding our requests. There was also a small surprise, a complimentary slice of cake, in the evening, which made our stay even more warm and memorable. Overall, the hotel's coordination and service went well, even during the peak season. It's suitable for those traveling with family or groups, as requests are handled quite neatly. Thank you.

My first time staying at the Aveon Hotel. My first impression was the alertness of the security and front desk, who, even in the pouring rain, promptly parked our car and held an umbrella for us to the front of the hotel. When we arrived at the lobby, the staff were also on standby, allowing us to quickly check in and check into our room. The room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room, the water, and the hotel overall were very satisfactory. The location on the northern ring road makes it easily accessible from all directions.
