This hotel refused to honor our Expedia reservation due to a reported medical emergency and put us in a hotel in the same vicinity that had a smaller room without air conditioning capable of keeping the room comfortable. We accepted their word about the medical emergency but requested and did not receive any written confirmation of the fact that they voided our Expedia reservation and moved us to another hotel (in this case it was much worse).

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pendini. The location is excellent, with all of Florence’s major attractions, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away.
The hotel is full of charm, with a unique blend of rustic, historic elegance and beautifully preserved furnishings that make the stay feel truly authentic.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was clean and well maintained. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with an authentic Florentine feel in an excellent location, I highly recommend Hotel Pendini. We would happily stay here again.

Loved the hotel! Room was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view. You do get some noise from outside below but didn’t bother us. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a beautiful hotel in a great location

The hotel is next to a major plaza and about 5 minutes walk to a beautiful basilica. All the front desk staff workers were very helpful. We checked out and they let us store our luggage there for several hours for free. Thank you.

Great location and property. Valet parking makes entering/exiting the ZTL easy (for a price). Breakfast offering is nice, with coffee/tea/cookies offered all day in the common area. We have stayed before and would return. Staff have always been welcoming and knowledgeable.

The first night we were there, there was no hot water for a couple of hours. Also, to get to our room, we had to climb a very narrow, spiral staircase which was very tiresome for a 73 and 67 year old.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Antique furniture but up to date washroom. Delicious breakfast. Only drawbacks are firm mattresses and hard pillows. Would return for another stay.
