Very good location to be able to explore Zurich. My only comment is to be aware that the bathroom in the room (at least that we stayed in) may not be what western cultures are used to. Sliding glass doors allow ALL sounds to echo into the room! Lol! If you are not modest, it may not be a big deal for you.

I had a good night’s rest (high quality beddings) and a hearty breakfast (eggs cooked on demand, fresh Zopf and croissants). The upgrade was a bonus, would happily come back again.

The floor was visibly dusty and we had to wipe it. The bathroom floor was slanted so the water was everywhere when we showered. The front desk was helpful and followed up my complaints. There is no AC that actually works so the room was extremely hot and the fan was coated with dust and I had to wipe it myself. If the expectations of a 3-star hotel is the following experience than..yes this is a 3-star hotel. The location is convenient, it has walkable distance to the train station and right at the heart of old town.

Ok so I had high expectations for this hotel, but fist time in my 40+ countries of traveling I’m writing bad review. Starting with when checking in the staff was not only extremely rude, she was racist. I asked for upgrade after her being rude about me wanting to have nice room with views. I’ve NEVER seen anyone being so mean. Then they gave me room with no views. Even though I asked to pay for upgrade. Then the glasses were dirty with lip stain on it!!! The worst part was that the restroom smell of sewage is IN A ROOM. Like when you go to sleep you’d feel it. I genuinely hated every second of being in this hotel, and I don’t recommend. Maybe it was just my luck. But whatever.
