Not my first time visiting the temple. However, the first time after the policy of different ticket. Would be better if they have an extra counter in near the temple if someone decided to go inside the temple. That way, no time to waste for walking to the main gate.

Borobudur Temple is worth visiting, everything is good, but unfortunately when you want to ride the Shuttle Transport service, there is no neat queuing system so visitors fight to get on the shuttle.

I went on vacation to Jogja for a week and one of my tourist destinations was Borobudur. It doesn't feel complete if you go to Jogja but don't go to Borobudur temple, after 22 years last time I came here and now it has changed a lot, it's better and more organized, neater and more beautiful, it's really cool here. All the facilities are very good. It's really cool.

We had a great experience in Borobudur. We were provided the ride from the waiting area to the Temple. All were great except when we had to pay for the return ride. It is not about the price actually coz it is only 20.000 rupiah per person. The ticket should have also covered the return ride. It is so disappointing, many visitors were not happy and ‘forced’ to pay the ride or otherwise we have to walk a long way back which is not ok for many senior citizens and other visitors with special needs.
