About Kawah Ijen at Banyuwangi - 1-Day Tour by Tour Banyuwangi Organizer
Explore the beautiful Kawah Ijen! Start your journey by traveling to Paltuding, the base camp from which you will start the hike to Kawah Ijen. The 2-hour hike will be paid off by a spectacular view of the blue fire. It is said to be 1 of only 2 blue fires in the world, so make sure you bring a camera to capture its mystical beauty. While you’re up there, wait for the morning to come as the view of the crater itself is not to be missed. The beautiful turquoise crater will come into sight as the daylight appears. Finally, you can freshen up at Jagir Waterfall after the tiring climb up and down Mount Ijen!

The driver was punctual. The guide was super helpful and knowledgeable so I feel assured that I am in the good hand. Just make sure to wear the proper shoes because I wore sneakers and it was super slippery.
My only suggestion to the vendor is to brief through text message or email about what should we prepare. Things such as proper shoes, jacket, regular mask (that you can buy in a convenience store) because it's super dusty, and torch is super important. They didn't brief you until you asked.

Trek Kawah Ijen cukup di luar ekspektasi, tadinya kami berpikir treknya akan sama dengan gunung pada umumnya, tapi jalanan ijen 90% tanah berpasir sisanya batuan terjal, dari start hampir sulit dapat trek landai, semua menanjak dari 45-60° tapi berhubung guidenya amat sangat menyenangkan, dan fully helpful gw yg ga pede dengan trek gelap jadi kebantu banget, guidenya super sabar dan pastinya jaga banget pesertanya untuk selalu di posisi aman (Thanks Wahyu)

Punctual transport pick up time. Helpful (and fun) guide throughout the hike. Last but not least, got to see beautiful view of the crater and the blue fire! All for a very affordable price.

Trip kali ini semuanya seru, dari penjemputan hingga tiba di ijen dan guide yang sabar nungguin saya yang lelet ini hehe makasih banyak yah pak (lupa namanya) gara-gara lelet jadi paling belakang deh, tapi beliau masih sabar nungguin. Well, so far is good. The guide is so kind. He's accompany the other tourist who can't walk. Tapi pas mau turun ke kawah ijennya, aku sewa guide lain 100k untuk memandu turun ke kawah dan lihat blue firenya karena guide yang dari tour travelokanya sibuk dengan tourist lainnya.
