7. Learn about Ipoh's tin-mining history

Visit Lost World Tin Valley to discover the history of tin mining in Ipoh and the Kinta Valley. Review the official show schedule on the day of your visit.

The best time to visit Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park

Best days to visit

Visit on Wednesday to Friday for a more relaxed experience, as weekends, school holidays, and public holidays tend to attract more visitors. The park is closed on Tuesdays, except during Malaysian school and public holidays. Arriving at opening time gives you more time to enjoy the rides, pools, and other attractions.

Best months to visit

June to August is a good period to consider for outdoor activities because Ipoh generally experiences lower rainfall during these months, particularly in June and July. November is typically the wettest month, so prepare for possible rain if you visit during this period. Rain can affect outdoor activities and scheduled shows.

Best time of day

Frequently Asked Questions about Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park

How much are Lost World of Tambun tickets?
Options start from RM 84.00. Compare the same admission type and visitor category, because daytime Entrance Tickets and Hot Springs tickets offer different access.
Does a Hot Springs ticket include the daytime theme park?
The listed Hot Springs packages exclude entrance to Sunway Lost World of Tambun. You need to purchase daytime admission separately if you want that access; check the chosen package before booking.
Which ticket category should Malaysian citizens choose?
Choose the Malaysian Citizens option if eligible. The listing directs international passport holders and iKAD, iKID or MyPR holders to the international visitor option. Bring original identification for verification.
Can I enter using only my payment receipt?
No. The listed redemption instructions require the issued voucher to be exchanged for a physical ticket or wristband at the ticket office, with original valid identification. Payment receipts do not replace the voucher.
Are small children admitted free?
The listed terms allow children below 90 cm to enter free. Confirm the selected package rules before booking; free park admission does not waive the height or safety requirements of individual rides.
Can I leave for lunch and return?
The listed terms do not allow re-entry after leaving. Check food arrangements before the visit, and ask staff about wristband removal and exit rules if combining the park with Hot Springs access.
What water attractions can I plan around?
The operator lists Cliff Racer, Tube Raiders, Adventure River, Jungle Wave Bay, Kids Explorabay and Malayana Rainfortress. Check operational notices and the rules of each attraction on your visit date.
What should I bring for a water park visit?
Bring suitable swimwear, a towel, dry clothes, the issued voucher and required original identification. Consult the swimming dress guide and confirm optional rental costs and food rules separately.
Can I change the visit date or request a refund?
The listed tickets are valid on the selected date. Read the specific option's rescheduling and refund conditions before payment; do not assume an unused voucher is automatically refundable or valid on another day.

About Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park

Looking for Lost World of Tambun tickets for an Ipoh break? A visit to Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park Tickets can focus on water park activities or a Hot Springs evening. Compare the available packages on Traveloka before choosing, because the admission type and visitor category matter as much as the date.

What To Expect at Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park Tickets

Top Attractions & Experiences

The water park is a good starting point if swimming and slides are the main reason for your visit. Cliff Racer offers a faster ride, while Tube Raiders has several slide routes using inflatable tubes. For a gentler change of pace, Adventure River lets you drift through the park rather than climb straight onto another slide. The official operator also lists Jungle Wave Bay and Kids Explorabay, so families can plan around different interests instead of expecting every attraction to suit every child.

Check the rules at each ride before joining the queue, especially for younger children. Admission does not override a height restriction or a safety instruction. Build breaks between water activities and other parts of the park, and decide where your group will meet if some people prefer slides while others want a quieter visit.

Themed Zones & Areas

The destination brings together the Lost World Water Park, Amusement Park, Petting Zoo and other themed areas. The official site also lists Tin Valley, Tiger Valley and Adventure Park, alongside the separately marketed Hot Springs & Night Park. These names describe different experiences within the wider destination; they are not a promise that every ticket includes every activity or that all areas share the same operating schedule.

For a daytime family outing, make the water attractions your anchor and add other areas according to your interests and ticket coverage. If your priority is an evening soak, start by looking at the Hot Springs options instead. Keep hotel accommodation separate from park admission: staying nearby may make the itinerary easier, but a room is not automatically part of the ticket being sold here.

What's New at Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park Tickets in 2026

Latest Additions & Updates

The operator currently features Malayana Rainfortress on its water park page, with multiple water slides and the Dragon's Lair water tunnel. It is worth including in your planning if your group wants more than the older headline rides. This guide does not assign it an opening date or describe it as a newly launched attraction without verified timing. Check the park map and operational notices when deciding which activities to prioritise.

Seasonal Events & Highlights

School holidays and public holidays can affect the park calendar and entertainment programme. Before choosing a date in November 2026, review the operator's current announcements rather than assuming a past festival or promotional event is still running. A normal admission ticket should not be taken as proof that a separately advertised event, performance or special activity is included.

Lost World of Tambun Ticket Types & Pricing

Ticket Options

Lost World of Tambun tickets start from RM 84.00. The booking list distinguishes Entrance Ticket options from Hot Springs options, with separate choices for Malaysian citizens and international visitors. Look at the package title and inclusions before comparing prices: a cheaper evening Hot Springs ticket is not the same purchase as a daytime theme park ticket.

The Hot Springs packages checked on the listing explicitly exclude entrance to Sunway Lost World of Tambun, which must be purchased separately. Do not assume the reverse either: inspect the daytime package to see what evening access, if any, it includes. The listing directs iKAD, iKID and MyPR holders to the international visitor category. For a mixed group, choose the correct category for each person rather than using the citizenship of the person making the payment.

How to Book Tickets

On Traveloka, select the visit date, the correct admission type and the passenger categories before paying. The listed options are valid on the selected date, so check it against your transport and accommodation plans. Review the final amount in the displayed currency and compare equivalent packages when budgeting in MYR.

Save the issued voucher after booking. The redemption instructions require exchanging it for a physical ticket or wristband at the ticket office, with original valid identification for verification. A payment receipt is not an entry ticket. Read the selected option's refund and rescheduling terms before purchase; do not assume an unused voucher can be moved to another date or refunded automatically.

Good to Know Before You Visit Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park Tickets

Opening Hours & Best Time to Visit

The product's current operating information is $productOperationalHour. Daytime park access and Hot Springs evening access need their own schedule checks. The operator lists a Tuesday closure for the theme park, with exceptions during Malaysian school and public holidays, while the Hot Springs & Night Park is listed as opening daily. Confirm the calendar for your exact ticket and date before setting off.

If you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur for the weekend, leave enough time for admission and the activities you actually want. A later arrival can work differently for an evening Hot Springs visit than for a day focused on slides. School holiday dates are relevant to the opening calendar, but they do not guarantee that every ride or show will operate without changes.

Dining Options & Facilities

The official site has food-and-beverage information and a tickets-and-rentals section. Check these when planning meals and deciding what equipment to bring. Do not treat meals, a towel, a locker or any other rental as included unless your package explicitly says so. Put optional spending aside from the admission price so the family budget reflects the visit you intend to have.

For halal requirements, food allergies or other dietary needs, confirm the relevant outlet and menu with the operator. A general dining section is not proof that every dish meets a particular requirement. Also check the current outside-food rules before packing lunch; arranging a meal break inside the visit is safer than assuming you can leave and enter again.

Rules & Policies

The listed ticket terms say re-entry is not allowed after leaving. They also warn that wristbands are removed when exiting the Hot Springs and Spa area, ending access to the rest of the theme park. Ask staff how to sequence those areas for your package before crossing an exit. This is especially useful for visitors hoping to combine daytime activities with an evening visit.

Proper swimming attire is required. Consult the operator's dress guide rather than assuming ordinary clothing is suitable for every water ride. The ticket terms list free entry for children below 90 cm; confirm this against the package you choose, and remember that admission eligibility is separate from ride restrictions. Bring the identification required for child, senior or citizenship-based tickets.

How to Get to Lost World of Tambun

By Public Transport

The park is in Tambun, Ipoh, Perak, at No.1, Persiaran Lagun Sunway 1, Sunway City Ipoh, 31150 Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. For a trip using intercity transport, plan the journey to Ipoh and the onward connection to the park as separate legs. Check available rail or coach services for your date, then arrange the local transfer that suits your arrival point. The attraction ticket does not include that transfer unless a selected package specifically states otherwise.

Allow time for collecting your voucher or wristband once you arrive. For the return trip, avoid a connection that leaves no room for changing clothes, collecting belongings and travelling back to your departure point. An evening Hot Springs plan also needs a return arrangement that matches its later schedule.

By Car or Taxi

Use the park entrance as the navigation destination when driving from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru or another Malaysian city. The operator's address is No. 1, Persiaran Lagun Sunway 1, Sunway City Ipoh. Compare your route with current traffic conditions rather than budgeting a fixed journey time from another city or from central Ipoh.

Check current parking arrangements separately, and do not presume a parking charge is included in admission. If using a taxi or ride-hailing service, agree on the drop-off and plan the return before an evening visit. Keep the park address available for the driver, since the destination's hotel and the theme park are separate places to identify.

Insider Tips for Lost World of Tambun

  • Pack suitable swimwear, a towel and dry clothes if water activities are part of your day.
  • Put your original identification and issued voucher where you can access them before joining the ticket-office queue.
  • Decide on the daytime park or the evening Hot Springs experience before comparing headline prices.
  • Check height and safety rules at each ride instead of assuming a child admitted to the park can use every slide.
  • Plan meals and optional rentals in your budget, alongside admission and transport.
  • Ask about wristband and exit rules before moving into the Hot Springs area if your itinerary combines different parts of the park.

Lost World of Tambun Reviews

Rating & What Visitors Say

The current product rating is 9.0, with 9504 reviews. Read recent comments for experiences relevant to your chosen visit, such as voucher redemption or travelling with children. This guide does not attribute praise or complaints to reviewers without checking the individual review.

Is Lost World of Tambun Worth Visiting?

It can suit families who want water attractions and other themed areas in the same outing, or visitors specifically interested in an evening Hot Springs session. The more useful comparison is between your preferred activities and the package that admits you to them. Someone who wants only a short evening soak should not evaluate a full daytime ticket as though it were the same experience.

More Things to Do in Ipoh

If this is part of a longer Ipoh break, give the rest of your itinerary its own time rather than trying to fit city sightseeing into an admission day with no re-entry. Choose other activities around your accommodation and onward transport, and confirm their access and opening schedules separately. Hotel stays, city transfers and visits outside the park are separate purchases from this ticket.

Choose Lost World of Tambun tickets around the activities your family wants, with the correct visitor category and a workable date for Lost World of Tambun Amusement and Water Park Tickets. Book through Traveloka and browse more things to do to complete your Malaysia holiday plans.
