Ambon is part of Indonesia's province Maluku. The city is inhabited by multicultural races. Some of them are Javanese, Balinese and Minang. 1. Christina Martha Tiahahu Monument -This monument is to honour the life of Christina Martha Tiahahu. She was one of the fighters that fought against the Dutch. She fought alongside her father. She passed away at the age of 18 due to a hunger strike after being exiled by the Dutch.
2. World Peace Gong - The gong has been around for 350 years old. It is a sign of peace. It was circulated to many countries to symbolises union. It is now resting in Ambon for the world to see and be reminded of the reason why the gong was created.
3. Saparua Island - The island is only 40 kilometres boat ride from the city of Ambon. There are locals there so tourists may go and stay at the accommodation prepared there. The beach is beautiful, and the sea is equally magical.
