What are 3 activities to do in Johannesburg?

Constitution Hill - The name of this location may be boring but do not leave Jo'burg without visiting Constitution Hill. This place is one of the most historical places in South Africa. The exhibition is divided into four sections: Old Fort, originally from 1892 and formerly a male prison; Terrible Number Four Prison, reserved for white men; Women's Prison; and the Trial Block - which is now being remodeled and replaced by the Constitutional Court. If you visit with children, remember to visit Play Africa, an old-fashioned old-school interactive play facility in the Old Fort. Generally, there will be concerts and cultural events hosted on Constitution Hill as well. There is also a nice café, called Hill, inside the Old Fort if you need a break. There are tours available at this location, which will give visitors more information.

Ponte City - Ponte City is one of the most iconic structures in the city of Jo'burg. The 54-story cylinder skyscraper was inhabited by settlers in the late 1980s and unfortunately turned into a vertical urban slum. A few decades later, the building's owner, Kempston, took control and changed its structure, which is now safe and home to a working-class mixed-race community and middle class in South Africa.

Nizamiye Mosque - This mosque is well known as part of Turkey in South Africa. This mosque was built inspired by the Ottoman Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, Turkey. Across the M1 Highway, it was built by hundreds of Turkish artisans with materials originating from Turkey and transported to South Africa by Turkish businessman Ali Katırcıoğlu. Once inside the mosque, you will see handmade rugs and tiled dome. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome in the mosque, but be sure to dress modestly, take off their shoes, and cover their heads for women. If you are hungry, there is also a Turkish restaurant inside the mosque.
