To fill in your name during a flight booking process, please follow the instructions below:

• Domestic flight: Fill in your full name as it is written on the ID card (KTP, driver's license, etc.) or passport you use to make the booking.
• International flight: Fill in your full name, or first and last name, as it is written on your passport.

If you do not have a last name, please follow the instructions below:

• Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia: Use your first name as your last name. Example: Olivia Olivia.
• Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines: Tick This person has no last name/surname.

All Naming Instruction

Names must match passengers' travel documents. If not, the airline may refuse you to board or charge additional fees.

No Family/Last Name

In the passenger data entry form, fill in your First Name and tick the "This person has a single name" box under the First Name column.

Names with Special Characters (, . -, etc)

Delete the special characters when you fill in your name.

Patronymic Surname (Bin & Binti)

Identify your first and last name using Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) on your passport. Find it at the bottom section on your passport page, the one with your name, and with a lot of << symbols. Only the leftmost part represents your last name and should be filled in the Last Name column. The remaining part should be filled in the First Name column.

Chinese First & Last Name

Identify your first and last name using Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) on your passport. Find it at the bottom section on your passport page, the one with your name, and with a lot of << symbols. Only the leftmost part represents your last name (Everything to left of the double chevron <<) and should be filled in the Last Name column. The remaining part should be filled in the First Name column.

Vietnamese Name

Under the "First & Middle Name" column, fill in your middle name first followed by your first name so that your name is formatted exactly as your passport.
