Punthill Knox

It was ok, the room was missing some basics such as a tea towel, a cloth to wash dishes, any detergent for the dishwasher. It was a spacious room. I didnt like the shower bath set up. The glass partion felt very fragile and I found the bath (standing for a shower) a little slippery. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable. Great if you love super soft but it was so soft (or worn down) that you sank to the bed base. Also it wasnt super quiet, you could definitely hear the people speaking on their phones or just in the rooms next door.

Terrible smell

Convenient, and clean. Good size tv. Not a fan of shower baths though.

The appartment was big and fit a family of three well. It was tidy and had daily housekeeping, however felt like it needed a deeper clean between guests

The aircon in my room is super noisy and blowing directly onto the bed. Hard for me to sleep with the aircon on. Sound insulation is bad as I can hear the neighbour talking til midnight.mattress to soft.

I was not given my free wine for gold membership, reception closed at 7pm although everything else seemed to close at 8pm. I had not towels in my room and the tv did not work. I tried to go to the gym at 7.30pm but it was closed even though they are open until 8pm.

They need to update there televisions to today's standards. Some tv's while digital are not HD and I've not seen a smart tv. They are not a cheap stay so I would expect better.

Happy with previous stays so why not stay again.

Great accomodation. Has all the amenities you need to feel almost like home. Staff are helpful and friendly. Across the street from an enormous shopping centre. Bush walks and nature attractions are countless in the area.

James and his team at Punthill Knox are lovely, friendly, polite and extremely helpful.

Overall it was a nice place. Unfortunately on the day we arrived it was 37 degrees and the aircons only cooled the living room/kitchen area. The bedrooms had no aircons and also no fans and the cool air simply didn't get into the bedrooms so we hardly slept the first night. Luckily there was a cool change the bwxt day and we were able to sleep the next night. The bedrooms badly need fans.

James is amazing. They are lucky to have such an amazing manager. This review would have been alot worse if it wasn't for his professionalism and ability to think on his feet.
