After Covid, some hotel management just come up with delusional plan of saving cost while depriving human the rights to have drinking water. Yes, no bottle water. They are proud to declare that. They will tell you they have a filtered water machine on ground floor, bring your own bottle to fill up. In a proud tone. Some hotel will do it gracefully with filtered water machine in front of the lift and flask in each room. Put up a GREEN poster on top of the machine and market it further! Hope this establishment learn it well. Overall, I’m please about the design, cleanliness and some small little details like extra hooks and holder for towels! Keep it up and improve further!

When we put the key in dust flew out the vents but apart from that customer service was great

My colleague and I stayed here for a recent business trip and were pleasantly surprised with how nice, modern and tidy the hotel was. Certainly it’s very easy if you don’t require parking, although we managed to improvise a solution. I would happily stay here again.

Convenience is topmost. Whether it's transport, trams & Flinders St Station is not far. New Townhall Stn will be opening sometime this yr (2025) next to the Westin hotel. Coffee, coffee, & more coffee, speciality chocs like Godiva & Koko Black, Melbourne Townhall, Swanston St, Collins St & main shopping area, Bourke St mall Comedy festival is on at the moment (April) & the Regent is not faraway either. Rooms are simple & tasteful. Bedding comfy, Bar fridge is well stocked. If you're going to be out most of the day the room is just right & I'm not fussed about a view as I want to be out during the day - we got one with 2 single beds, there's a small round table with 2 chairs & a small round ottoman. Most of the staff are pleasing & helpful. They have a lounge in the foyer where you are allowed to hang out, lots of tables & chairs where you can bring your food you've purchased outside. I wanted to come back in June & they're already fully booked!

Inside the hotel was pretty much perfect, nice and modern. Helpful staff. No breakfast facilities yet though. The only thing that let it down was the noise from nearby construction which could be heard through the windows along with bin lorry sounds

My daughter and I had a great time. The location is perfect, the beds were SUPER comfy and everything seemed to be great. The plus to give it an excellent would be a kitchen / cafe attached and parking.

The Howey is the perfect business stay, everything you want in a beautiful room. Well located and the check in staff were fabulous. It is now my Melbourne regular!

Second time back at the Howey. Great location right in the middle of town, lovely modern and clean room.

The hotel was great, checkin was an issue, had two rooms booked and they one had one booking. After calling Wotif and they rang hotel they found the booking, issues was someone else had been booked in under our booking number. Great location, would stay again.
