Hilton Antwerp Old Town

Very well located reasonably priced hotel. I will stay here again

A disappointing experience, not what we expected from a luxury brand like Hilton. Our room at the far end of a long corridor with a view of a decaying building across the street looked old and outdated like it hadn't been updated since this hotel opened in 1993 : scratched and chipped furniture, an oxidized standing lamp with a crooked shade that turned on by itself in the middle of the night (!), a sagging mattress, a small shower with a faucet that went from steaming hot to ice cold if you turned the handle one millimeter, etc... Furthermore I was signed up for the Hilton Honors loyalty program during check-in without mentioning that to me or asking for authorization, which is a clear violation of European data protection laws. By the time I arrived in our room I had already received two e-mails, thanking me for joining Hilton Honors and providing me with an account number and a temporary password. When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk later on, she said that this was necessary to have access to "better internet" (?) and to just ignore the e-mails. Over the next weeks I was bombarded almost daily with Hilton Honors advertising e-mails even though I requested my account to be deleted. What took 15 minutes to set up took 6 weeks and a complaint filed with the Hilton Data Protection Office to finally be resolved. In all the only real positive for this hotel is its location but I'm sure there are better options nearby, certainly for the price we paid.

The location was excellent, close to restaurants cafes and bars.

Perfect location for city visit. Good to see there was some renovations that happened at Hotel.

This hotel is in the heart of the city. Many attractions are nearby and walkable.

Size of the room and location was excellent; but the rooms are somewhat dated. A few stray hairs in the bathroom and bedding; hence the average rating on cleanliness - but the staff were lovely.

The Hilton was an ideal stay in Central Antwerp. The Hilton hotel and room were up to the normal high standard.

Great location. Walkable to all the places in Antwerp. The breakfast spread was excellent. We arrived very early on an overnight flight, and they were able to accommodate us with a room available. Very large rooms for Europe…

Great property that was very close to all the major points of interest in Antwerp.

Staff was courteous, room was spotless and large!

Hotel is in a good location but rooms are old and bed is not very comfortable. Breakfast was so so - eggs were cold and coffee is not good. More 3* than 4.

Late arrival early check out so can’t review much - checkin and out easy and no dramas

I think all in all this hotel is really nice The executive lounge is amazing, the hotel is dated and yes making some updates and renovations would be good but please keep the feeling. Location is super good. We spent the entire time in our hotel room 588 due to illness. We didn’t see any thing or visit anything but a big shout out to our cleaning lady - she was amazing. Changeing our sheets and towels often to help us get well. Very nice lady

The staff were lovely throughout the stay. The room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious with high quality food and good variety. I used the gym and out 3 treadmills, two of them were not working which was frustrating. The location was perfect being able to walk everywhere. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
