I highly recommend this place! Not only is the location very convenient and close to different areas of the city, the staff are incredible and so, so kind. We needed to extend our stay last-minute and Sheila was so accommodating and understanding, she really made our stay so welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well-sized, and the older style layout is charming, the beds are comfortable and there were no odd smells or anything to indicate poor maintenance. If I ever visit Toronto again I will definitely rebook!

We've stayed here at least 10 times as it's our go-to overnight Toronto destination. The greatest advantage is are that it has underground parking, fairly spacious rooms, and it's very close to the Eaton center. The facilities themselves are from a past era so while clean things can feel a little tired, the recent addition of breakfast and the ability to spend your morning in the portico restaurant is a welcome addition. For the convenience and location, I'm not sure if you can do better.

This is an absolute hidden gem in downtown Toronto. Room was great and it was so close to so many things within walking distance! Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Hotel location is great, close proximity to subway, shops and services. Beds were comfortable. Rooms could use an update, in particular the grout in the showers needs to be redone as it was chipped and was dark / moldy in spots. Also did not receive any housekeeping during our stay (we didn’t have the do not disturb sign out on the door)

Hôtel is in a great location for walking to many attractions and the hop on hop off bus. Rooms were only serviced every other day, but you could ask for things if needed. Bed was very comfortable. There was an extra charge for breakfast buffet which was very disappointing.Everything was cold each day and pastries were grocery store quality. There are many other options in the area and I regretted prepaying for the breakfast buffet.
