Might be my new favorite hotel in Vancouver. Rooms were luxe and comfy. And everything felt intentional and relaxed. Staff was great and well trained in hospitality.

We went down for a Canucks game for my son’s 11th birthday and stayed here. I had emailed the concierge prior to our stay about our plan. Upon arrival the front desk, valet and bellhop all wished my son a happy birthday and when we entered our room there were Canucks coloured balloons, a pic of the mascot wish him a happy birthday, a cloth cake and even a Canucks scarf. My son was so excited and I was so very touched. It made us feel so special.

Amazing hotel and staff. We unfortunately were there after it sustained water damage so some of the common areas were unusable. That being said, every other aspect of this hotel was lovely.

Room was great. Staff very attentive and quick to respond. They have a policy of taking IDs for each adult staying in the room and press hard if you object. As a frequent business traveller this is a very rare demand. After a long travel period to get to hotel, guests want a smooth quick welcoming experience at the front desk. This is an unnecessary hassle and starts the stay a little difficult.

Stayed at Paradox Hotel Vancouver recently and it was honestly a letdown. The property was under some major renovations during our stay, and with only one elevator working, we were often waiting up to 10 minutes just to get up or down. It became frustrating pretty quickly. The room itself didn’t meet expectations either—there was sticky residue on some of the cabinets, which made it feel like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained. This was our first time staying here, and given its “luxury” reputation, we were expecting a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of that.

Amazing staff. Beautiful hotel. Great location. However, a recent flood/water leak in the hotel had created an experience we would have passed on. Drilling on the main floor/lobby started at just after 7am. Room service was not available. Only one elevator worked for the entire week we stayed. The communication was not top priority as we were only notified days before heading to Vancouver and had already confirmed and paid for our stay. For a high class hotel, known all around the globe we did not find the amount we paid was worth the hype.

Very beautiful, clean rooms without carpet, which for me is a massive bonus. Staff was helpful and efficient, and all amenities included were lovely and high-quality. Buyer beware if travelling with a car though, self parking can get a little bit confusing and expensive, as well as the opening/closing schedule being sometimes inconvenient.
