Very small rooms but super convenient and descent prices on the right times. Check In was done all on a PC in the Lobby yourself which was a new experience and SUPER easy to do. Made things so much quicker. Rooms are small and just enough room for two people but a very sleep and get out situation, not enough space to hang around in the room. However there is plenty of space in the Lobby area with cosy seating and good vibe to the atmosphere. Did it a couple of times when I brought food back. Overall a decent place to stay.

Old and dirty. I knew the rooms would be incredibly small but didn’t expect them to be so unclean. I knew I was paying for the location in the center of the city but expected to be staying at a decent hotel and not a rundown property. You also have to pay for any extras, like breakfast and even luggage storage. I would never stay here again. In fact, I’m returning to Copenhagen for my flight home and already canceled my reservation here and booked a larger hotel that’s not in the city center.

The rooms were tiny, overpriced and had no design what so ever, not even a picture on the wall... or a drawer for clothes, or a tea/coffee station, or water. The TV didn't face the bed so that was unusable... and it look like it was from the early 2000s. Air con had no temp control - just a fan. This is more like a hostel experience than a hotel. You'd find a better and bigger bathroom and shower in a caravan. Staying at an IBIS is an upgrade to this. Crays prices for very sub-standard rooms. Its a 1-2* hotel with 4* prices. godo locations but terrible bedrooms. Oh, and the lift was dodgy too.

I booked this hotel specifically because I expected reliable air conditioning, but unfortunately the AC did not work properly during my stay. I was also assigned a first-floor room located right next to the garbage cans, which was extremely noisy throughout the day and night. There was constant banging and noise, making it impossible to sleep. While the staff was friendly, they were not able to resolve the issues or improve my stay. Overall, the lack of sleep due to the noise and the malfunctioning AC made the experience very disappointing

The Wakeup is certainly a reasonably-priced option for a brief stay in Copenhagen. The Borgergade site is quite centrally located, although that can be an issue because the bars and restaurants outside can be very loud in the summer months. There were often people shouting in the street until 3AM. The hotel provides an app for convenience, but that app failed to work in the elevator because we weren't on Wifi and the cell coverage in that elevator is poor. The wifi is fast and easy to use. The room we had was extremely small. It is economical - they saved a ton by not having a bathmat. There is no water kettle in the room, but you can get hot water at the desk 24 hours a day. The bed was ok, though they don't use a proper bottom sheet so we had to pull that back on a couple of times. The shower is fantastic. The bathroom is small, so there is not much place to put your toiletries. The blackout curtain is functional. There are a couple of outlets in the room, but only one near the bed. There are somehow two chairs and a tiny desk. There is no refrigerator. We made do for three nights, but I think next time I'll spend a little more for slightly more room and a hot water kettle. The breakfast is cheap. You get what you pay for. What they have is not bad, but don't expect scrambled eggs or anything. Their pastry is yummy. Their cheese slicer is Byzantine; it's not the pinacle of Danish design.

The hotel is one excellent location. It has easy access to public transport, taxis etc. It is well prioc4ed with excellent breakfast. However, the room was unacceptable dirty at arrival, the sheets were not changed for 4 days and the conditions were filtthy. The bathroom arrangement is is small and deigned with slippery floor, Not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Functional hotel near the city centre. Bed is sideways on to the end of the room so if there are two of you, one has to climb over. Not much storage. Nice and quiet. Decent buffet breakfast. Plenty of nice restaurants close by. Good value for the location.

This is such a fun property - within just a few blocks of several popular sites in historic Copenhagen. The room was small but very efficiently met all of our needs. There are nice t.v. and lounge rooms to socialize in on the main level and a nice garden area outside of the breakfast room. There is a small charge for breakfast in the morning - get a ticket at the front desk. Highly recommend this lodging - great to be in the middle of so many restaurants and museums!
