The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a budget friendly option and the facilities in our room (we were lucky to be given a small studio but had booked a deluxe double room) exceeded our expectations. Very close to the beach, ideal for a few days by the sea.

A nice, fairly beach-close Hotel, currently being refurbished - so not much going on in the hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff. Would NOT suit anyone with walking problems as the return from the main beach area is up a very steep hill. Definately would stay there again.

Great reception and sorted parking. Room was very smelly like old sweat. Sheets were clean and tidy but the carpet need changing it in a manky state. Bathroom clean and tidy but vinyl needs changing as it doesn't fit properly. Good enough for me to lay my head but I was out of there early as I was not going to be hanging around in that room.

Room needs a refresh, water stains on the ceiling, dirty marks on the walls, all metal feature was rusty, carpets need a deep clean, need to provide a tv remote for tv, room needs to have fan or aircon or windows that would open as made room very hot and makes it difficult to sleep. Bathroom and kitchen tap not working properly, only hot water or warm water no cold. Room needs some tlc.

Booked a double delux room in Bournehall but we didn’t stay in the hotel as they put us into another building. The room was very dirty, shower full of mould, taps mouldy curtains didn’t fit windows, stains all over vinyl floor and when I opened the fridge flies flew out and lots lay dead inside the fridge

Whole hotel needs an update, room carpet dirty, bathroom dirty. Wanted id when we arrived wasn’t told that when booked online with Expedia. But I don’t carry id so excepted the email confirmation when booked. Bed was hard, uncomfortable but for 1 night was ok! Noise from the road kept us awake and a blue light shining into our room all night from the hotel next door. We left at 7am due to lack of sleep. Beach close by and shops.

The first experience of easy car parking was the most positive part of the experience. All in all, a very run down room which is meant to be a 'deluxe room'. For instance a 30 year old minimum chair that's perfect for back ache with rips and wood raised in the seating and really dirty, along with the excellent plug socket that won't take plugs, and metal bed with a mattress so thin you will have metal bar prints on your back the next day. Other than that it needs a really big overhaul and clean, and in truth, doesn't need to be alot of money. Oh bring your own mugs as the cups are likely been taken from a dolls house. Staff were okay and said we could park the car for longer if wanted which brings rating to a 2. Review based on a deluxe room booking

Too hot! Should rename the hotel Sauna Hotel. Radiators all set to high throughout the entire building so the no way to turn them down. Rooms were so hot we had to sit by the window and leave it wide open all night long making it noisy. No fans supplied to rooms.

I was check-in relatively quickly and allocated a double room on the top floor with a view of the sea. The room had a fridge freezer and a kettle and 32" smart TV and a sofa, which I was impressed about for a two star hotel. Great stay and ideal location in the centre of Bournemouth Town centre.

Sadly a very very run down and badly maintained hotel. Peeling wallpaper, stained walls, sticky patches on carpets, bedding that seemed to be made from some kind of disposable material like you get in hospitals and shower door couldn’t shut so water poured everywhere when showered. Worst hotel I have stayed at in the area (out of about 10-12 over the years).

Arrived with limited parking. Had to wait for a pace and even then very cramped. There was an altercation between owners and guests over an alledged burglary. Guests claimed they saw CCTV of an intruder entering via fire escape next to the room my daughter and I had just checked into. Didn't feel safe even if the owners claims of it all being a scam was true. In all fairness, they authorized Expedia to issue a full refund and we were able to relocate. The hotel wasn't the cleanest and didn't smell the freshest either so we had a lucky escape. Bathroom light didn't work, was pitch black but it did have a fridge in the room. Wouldn't go back even though we didn't stay in the first place.
