Very clean good shower, great breakfast

Staff were great. Nice room (was a little cold when we arrived ( had 3 external walls) so we were given an extra heater, which we were grateful for). Parking easy. Breakfast plentiful and dinner choices very good. Loved the coffee machine and refill station with extra touch of biscuits/treats. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Quiet site as outside of term time, so no students about.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff

This is a gem of a hotel. Clean warm room. Extra tea bags & milk as and when you need them which is a great touch. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. The barrier to get into the complex didn’t work and there was no response from the button at the side, so we had to phone the hotel to get in. We were given room 313 but there was no lift. We are in our late 70s and had to climb up the stairs with all our luggage and Christmas parcels. The room and bathroom were large but soulless with inadequate lighting. Although it was warm downstairs, our room was cold as the radiators weren’t working. The television didn’t work either and nor did the internet. We were given a small electric heater which was completely inadequate as there was a heavy frost outside. We had to put on extra clothes and get into bed to keep warm. The bathroom had no heat at all and was freezing cold. At 2am we woke to find the radiator on, but it was off again by the morning, which is when we found that the coffee machine didn’t work and the toilet roll holder fell apart. We have never stayed in such an awful hotel and it completely spoilt our Christmas stay in Sheffield.

Everything was spot on, welcoming, courteous and friendly. The young man even asked if we had enjoyed Christmas Day with our family. The room was spotless and comfortable. There was even fresh milk available.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to park up and check in early. The hotel was warm and welcoming, our room comfortable, clean and well equipped. Our breakfast was excellent.

Check in was very friendly, room was great with a nice big bathroom and the snack were a great addition. I enjoyed a really nice freshly cooked breakfast

Clean and comfortable room. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Our only negative was that having had a ground floor room allocated to us at the time of booking (due to bringing a baby) this was changed the day before our arrival to the top floor. However staff did help with all our luggage, we’d have just preferred not to carry her up 2 flights of stairs! We would definitely stay again in a family friendly room.

The room smelt of smoke so I was unable to stay. It seemed clean.
