Nice hotel, convenient for the station, right by a good shopping mall. The #8 bus took me around town, all the way to Clifton. Bristol is a cool destination, lots to do and see. I enjoyed returning to the Moxy at night and relaxing in their excellent bar

Great staff. Hotel was good too. The front faces am extremely busy road, so is noisy, but to be expected. The only downside is parking. I would stay again though, happily.

Such an overpriced hotel, uncomfortable bed, the bed was so short that my legs were hanging out of it, the pillows seemed to be made from recycled cotton wool, the shower was on a slope and slippery (dangerous) and there was an infuriating motion activated light that kept going off and on all night with no discernible way to turn it off. Such a poorly designed room and not the experience I'd expect at all when paying £150 for the night - ridiculous.

A good position for visting Bristol as there are buses nearby to get into the centre. Slight drawback was finding our way out of Cabot Circus car park by foot to the hotel. The car park only has one set of lifts! The hotel has a discount for 24 hour parking. A warm welcome when we checked in and we were allowed into our room early as it was ready. We were asked if we'd like a room at front or back. Our back room on the third floor was very quiet. The hotel was generally very quiet except for the music in the bar/restaurant area and we were amazed at breakfast to find how many poeple were staying there. The room (and the whole hotel ) was quite querky with interesting decor and fittings in the bedroom. Interesting to have a movement sensor under the bed which was good when going to the bathroom in the night. It only stayed on a minute which was just right. The help-yourself buffet breakfast was well laid out with plenty of choice. Staff were on hand if you couldn't find what you wanted. My husband has eyedrops for glaucoma and we were able to store these in the staff fridge for which we were extremely grateful. We would defintiely stay here if we came back to Bristol.

We had a very short but sweet stay up in Bristol to go to an event & we were very happy to find this hotel in a great location for where we needed to be. The hotel is really cool, and spacious rooms too which is always helpful for someone who likes to spread themselves out with all their stuff. Really good value for money & has a very funky vibe. Would definitely recommend the Moxy for a stay!

We have stayed at Moxy in Plymouth previously so knew what to expect this time. The Hotel was clean and the staff welcoming on arrival. The usual welcome cocktail offered and gratefully received after our journey. We were also even given a choice of room which was nice. The room was as expected, clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. The first morning was relatively quiet at breakfast, plenty of everything and regular replacements when anything got low. A very satisfying spread setting us up for the day. The second morning was quite different though. There seemed to be a few larger groups and when we came down to breakfast there was massive gaps in the offering with little sign of items being replaced even though there was still an hour and a half of breakfast left. There was also lots of dirty plates and cups etc piled everywhere. There just didn’t seem to be enough staff to cope but the one or two that were there did their best. This wouldn’t put me off but it was a little disappointing.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay but note two areas with room for improvement. First, the room was quite dusty and we could not ascertain its origin though speculate that it comes from the air conditioning unit. Second, the shower floor is very slippery when wet, especially with the additional slipperiness of shower gel or shampoo.
