The suite was spacious, quiet & clean. The kitchen well equipped. But no outlet near a mirror to dry your hair, the bathroom was SO narrow and the shower soaks 1/2 the bathroom. The a/c was freezing or off and the lights are on or off for the whole suite (can’t have the lights on in the living room without having them on in the bedroom).

Keep in mind they don’t clean or make the bed daily though they empty the trash and provide new towels. Overall it was OK but not great. The folks at the front desk were nice, but seemed disorganized. Our room keys stopped working 4 times during our week long stay and I was told "the colleagues forgot you are staying a week." OK- that explains once, but why did it happen every day? Nothing like coming back after long day sightseeing with sore feet to schlep upstairs and discover your room keys aren't working…. again. Pre-arrival, I received several emails requesting passport information which I explained I didn't want to submit online due to my concerns about sending this private info over email, yet didn't receive any acknowledgement. I'd add that under UK law, we aren't required to send in passport info and we may request our passports aren't photocopied. My friend ordered some things to be sent to the hotel, confirmed ahead of time this was OK with them, but was also told her packages didn't arrive even though they had. Not a big deal since she eventually received them, but still she shouldn't have had to check and recheck 2 days in a row. Location was good- close to borough Market and London Bridge tube stop. Close to the Tate Modern. They had an in room combo washer and dryer and occasionally there was no hot water in the main bathroom shower, but we had an extra bathroom so I used that one. Overall it was a meh deal and I'll stay elsewhere next time.

I was very pleased with the check-in process. Even though I was early there was no fuss I was just given a room. I’m sorry I didn’t get the young women’s name but she seemed to be there most days I was coming and going and was always pleasant and helpful with any questions. Overall a great place to stay right beside Thames River.

No coffee maker in kitchen. Would have loved a microwave I could figure out how to use. Heating/air conditioning wouldn’t balance. We had to turn it on and off to control temperature. Carpeting was buckled. No safe in room. Very uncomfortable bed. Front desk gave us incorrect information on taxi service to airport. On the pro side the apartment was very large with two bathrooms. Native Bankside was located in a great neighborhood near all the London Highlights and many good restaurants.
