You cannot complain for the price ! Spanish male member of staff wearing glasses who checked us in was amazing and super helpful. Decent location and you will it difficult to find an executive double for that price ! Will definitely be staying again

Booked room (twin) not ready on arrival (35 minutes after check in open. Was told could be 30-45 mins which was not acceptable. Asked if any room type was ready and was offered a double. This room (303) was terrible. There was no where to sit apart from bed. Room temp was around 40c even with windows open. No fan in room and only a single towel. Bath taps only ran shower with no way to use bath and wooden surround was split, damp and breaking up. When reported to Reception was offered no alternative or potential fix (no additional towels as other guests were also complaining same). I asked for a fan and a chair but was advised some rooms do not have additional seating. On return at 8:30pm a fan had been put in room but made no difference to temp. There was no way you could sleep in that room at that temperature so made the decision to vacate room and return home. At Reception was offered nothing apart from sorry you need to leave. Absolutely shocking service during the 5 hours of which I spent 50 mins in room. This hotel should be closed down or requires significant infrastructure changes to make rooms inhabitable.

Four-star it is not. Have stayed here many times before but won't be staying here again uless there is a dramatic improvement. Would have hoped, having re-opened after a long closure to paying guests, that basic decor would have been refreshed and standards maintained. Instead, tired decor, worn carpets, a musty smell in corridors, and an expectation of DIY - rooms not cleaned unless requested, no hotel information in room, no water or even glasses in room... Biggest downside is the outsourced catering. Restaurant used to be good - no longer. Breakfast barely adequate and simple bacon roll took 25 mins to arrive (4 people in there so not exactly rushed off their feet). Meal previous evening was edible at best. Pity really - used to be a good hotel. Very disappointing.

Hotel was a bit tired. Food quite nice. Biggest frustration was no glasses or water provided in bedrooms, air conditioning unit making constant noise even turned off, and uncomfortable mattress.

I can honestly say I hated my stay here and will never book this hotel again. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything that's going on in the other rooms around you and I mean EVERYTHING!! Had no sleep as in other rooms as mentioned people talking shouting laughing and pacing up and down in the room having sex in room above me, told reception they did go and say something to them but they didn't take any notice, I've stayed at quite a few hotels and this is the far worsed I've ever stayed in...Never again...avoid!!
