A very nice hotel with huge swimming pool, spa, and a water slide. Right next to the castle, close to nature walks by the water. Beautiful view from the window.

We were attending a wedding at Kuressaare Castle and location was perfect. Lovely views over the park and harbour from our room. Great facilities. Exterior from carpark side looked a little rough but inside was very welcoming.

The receptionists were always friendly, the rest of the staff not so much. The rooms were definitely not soundproofed and in need of an overhaul. The bathroom door knob had to be repaired, the dividers on the balcony between the rooms next to us were nonexistent. The shower didn’t have a full enclosure, so taking a shower flooded the bathroom. The offered buffet breakfast was bigger than expected.

I think there should be 2 parts to this : the hotel part is very dated and could use some upgrade, shower was smelly and not the cleanest I've seen. The outside of the hotel could also use a clean, not very appealing. Good breakfast buffet with local foods that are delicious. Staff was lovely and very helpful all around. The spa, pool, sauna and lobby areas are brilliant however and suit a multitude of needs and tastes. Pool area not quiet in the afternoons with kids, but to be expected in a family hotel so not a deal breaker.

Staff was great. Castle view I paid for, didn’t see the castle behind the shrubbery. No AC which we expected but also no ventilation. Couldn’t open window on ground floor for safety reasons so ended up with a downgraded room on 2nd floor so we could open door for air. Spa and pool was better than expected. Location was great for the fortress. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean and modern, except no air con, kettle or fridge. It did have a TV though and the door opened all the way to let some fresh air in but as I was on the ground floor I couldn't leave it open while I was out of the room. Like most sliding doors in Estonia though it can be left so it's only open at the top. Breakfast was great although not much was topped up in three last hour. Coffee machines had medium or dark roast options and are in the room next to the rest of breakfast Spa was empty between 10-12am but busy in the evenings

Conned by them , no swimming pool open , not advertised on booking page , yet charged full money for this service . No ventilation or air conditioning in rooms along with no mosquito nets as the place is infested in summer months , we had to try to sleep with windows closed and bedroom door to corridor open , it was a torture chamber for 3 nights . The Breakfast was the left over from previous days evening dinner , vegetables and potaoes only fresh food was scrambled egg the rest wast reheated crap . Do not stay at this house of horrors and do not book through hotels.com or expedia its a scam . this stay ruined mine and my wifes holiday effing torture chamber . colin bowen

Advertised as a spa hotel . Upon arrival advised all spa facilities under renovation . I pool, no spa, nothing open . Sad that as a returning guest was not notified and had to change hotels immediately upon arrival

I booked this hotel because it is directly opposite the Kuressaare castle and nearby Kuressaare Barbour. Overall room is quite spacious and fairly basic but has a balcony. I also visited the sauna which wasn't too bad. The hotel is walking distance from the town and most attractions. There is a small bar/restaurant directly opposite the hotel in case you want to try local food outside the hotel. Value for money hotel.
