Hotel Arok

Location near the train station yet very walkable to the center was practical. Very lovely breakfast. Really liked the available luggage locker room. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Hotel Arok is located next to the train station. It is not the best part of town. We were welcomed on the sidewalk by a group of Africans. The hotel staff did not know about the welcoming party. Even though we chose an air condition hotel, the air condition did not work at all, we spent two days in an oven. It was 40C outside... The hotel offers a parking, however it is located at a 10-15 minute walk from their facility. I would not return to Hotel Arok.

Overall, the hotel was very good. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was a major issue. It barely cooled the room, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. I spoke with the staff about it, but I was told there was nothing they could do. As a result, I couldn’t sleep properly all night. It’s a shame because everything else about the hotel was great, but the poor A/C significantly affected my stay.

We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really good, too. Thank you!

Directly opposite train station which was extremely convenient and not noisy at all. Their windows had great soundproof. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very convenient location and nicecstaff

The room and hotel premises were clean. Our room in the new wing was spacious (paid extra) but the furnishings were sparse. Not enough storage shelves are hangars for clothes. Bathroom and shower area were clean except, once again, only one hook available to hang up towels and clothes although there was more than enough wall space. Breakfast was good but gets boring after a couple of days due same items. Free coffee and snacks at the reception was a good touch. Overall it was a good stay.

There are a lot of great things about this hotel. Location: it is just outside the heart of the city, it is a short walk and you are in the middle of a lot of amazing sights. Cleanliness: We had two rooms, they were both clean and quite at night. The AC also functioned well. Food: The breakfast was good, you could see the staff bringing in the fresh items purchased for the breakfast. Additionally, they had little treats out in the afternoon, which were great when we were in the lobby playing card games. Service: the employees were great, they were very receptive every time I needed something. They gave a great recommendation for a place for dinner. Luggage storage: They have a dedicated area for luggage storage which is fully self-service and easy to use. It was very helpful and secure. The bad: The only bad part was the parking. There are several lots in the area, they were all closed, and it did not appear that they had been recently closed. They all appeared to have been closed for weeks to months. I ended up parking about a ten to fifteen minute walk away. While this is not worth taking a star away from the hotel, it would have been good to have know in advance.

Well located , short walk from the train station but surprisingly quiet . There was a breakfast ,which i'm guessing was European style . It was OK . The room was funny because the toilet was in a room by itself (no sink, just a toilet) . Also there was no shower just a tub , I didn't like that . It was a bit hot in the room . The elevator was fun ,you'll need to see it . It's not a bad hotel if you can get passed the problems i've mentioned

Great location, great rooms, friendly staff.

On arrival we were advised our room had been ‘upgraded’. The room was actually in the annex a few doors down from the main hotel and was clean and comfortable. The only downside was no tea / coffee or kettle in the room but you have access to the free coffee / tea in the bar area of the main hotel. Breakfast was typical continental and there was plenty of choice.

Great friendly staff very helpful , room was cleaned each day . Breakfast was very good continental breakfast , also a machine to help yourself to Tea & Coffee anytime you wanted .Would stay again

El hotel está super bien ubicado en frente de la estación de tren, super bien para conectar con otros destino. Super comodo el servicio de lockers para dejar el equipaje. El cuarto grande con mucho diseño y muy moderno, me llamó la atención que no cuente con frigobar. Limpieza y amenities muy bien. El lobby con mucho diseño. La zona es segura con muchos comercios y cerca de todo.

Excellent hotel across from the Strasbourg train station. Older building, but the interiors and rooms in the hotels seem to be renovated and look very modern. Room is of decent size. Hotel is an easy 15-20 stroll from the main center - streets are lined with restaurants and shops. We felt safe walking to/from the hotel late at night from the city center - just stay on the main streets with plenty of other people.

The AROK Hotel is a little gem. Great location near main train station, very clean, nice staff, quality little touches throughout. Rooms are very European city - extremely compact, but it all works with no glitches. Breakfast okay, as with the hotel, it has all the basics, very well done. I would go back! K T.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, we were able to get our room a bit earlier and that was great. Location is super, steps from the train station. I would stay again.
