Hôtel Aigle d'Or

There did not clean the fridge. There was a left over cola. They did not refill the shampoo. There was a bottle bit it was empty. There was also no extra toilet paper. After we request them, they put it into the room. But nobody knows English, so communication was really bad.

For having excellent reviews, we thought we were going to have a good stay. However, we waited 50 minutes out in the cold because the hotel was locked up. We got an email a few days before saying the office is only open from 7am-12pm and 3pm-7pm. We thought that was going to be fine since we werent going to be in the area until 3pm. We arrived and saw another couple that was waiting to check in. The told us that they had been calling, emailing, and checking around to see about check in as it was 3:10pm. Around 3:45pm the cleaning lady let us in to the building as it was freezing cold outside, to wait in the building until the desk person arrived. Around 4pm,a guy finally showed up and handed us keys. When we went into the room, we noticed it had not been finished cleaned. All things were off the floor, used soap bar was in the bottom of the shower, it smelled, and saw hair and dirty all over the floors. We requested for the floors to get vacuumed, they vacuumed the common area and not our room. There were no towels in the room, we had to request them. When we did get towels, they were really old and falling apart. We looked everywhere in the room and online for the wifi password and couldnt find it. Eventually we found it on a small paper at the front desk. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny and thin. The place was very expensive for what we recieved for accommodation. We understand that a 3 star hotel isnt going to be the nicest, but this was terrible.

Small, local, independent style hotel. The facility was replacing it's hot water heater during our stay, we were called earlier in the day and advised we'd have no hot water, were offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. It's mid-summer so a quick, cold shower was acceptable. When asked, the front desk attendant advised us on how best to get to downtown Strasbourg by driving the short distance to Gare Hoenheim, parking for 4.20 Euro (4,20) which allowed up to 7 to take Tram B to downtown Strasbourg. It was an easy way to get to the heart of the city.

Great hotel in a picturesque setting. An ideal stop over on our way to the south of France.

Warm and cosy room, perfect for the cold winter. Friendly staff. Located in a cute village on the outskirts of Strasbourg.

Very cosy hotel with wonderful service and comfortable rooms. Small hotel parking but not difficult to find places around the area.

Fantastic! The hotel called and sent a message with instructions for a late check in. It was super simple! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable! I would stay here again!

The owner attention to detail was incredible. Seems he recently renovated the room and he thought of every detail. Room was clean and had every thing you need. Modern decor and eco friendly. He even has netflix in the rooms! VERY CONVENIENT WHEN YOU DONT SPEAK FRENCH. Only hotel with this service in my stay in France. Very happy. The renovations where still finishing so he apologized with a bottle of Alsace wine. Very thoughtful!

Chambre trop petite- Pas de pression dans la douche

Das Zimmer war für 2 Nächte und 5 Personen komplett in Ordnung. Frühstück haben wir in einer Bäckerei in der Nähe eingenommen.

La chambre n’a pas été nettoyé dans son entièreté, poubelle non vidé, de nombreuses traces etc. Le petit déjeuner peu varié pour le prix payé.

Très belle chambre dans un hôtel au calme mais situé proche de Strasbourg centre.

Een eenpersoonkamer gekozen,wel erg klein vooral de badkamer. Toilet word belemmerd door verwarming. Volgende keer een tweepersoons kamer.
