Residhome Paris Opéra

Excellent in all respect. Location was fantastic – steps away from a major subway station and also a grocery store. Neighbourhood had tons of restaurants. Room itself was spacious and had a very good bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were very helpful.

Great location and access to everything

Check in was smooth and it went downhill from there. We booked the two bedroom for five people. The room used to be a one bedroom loft and they’ve built a weird internal loft extension with partition walls. This means the smaller bedroom has an interior window that is about 1.5 feet from exterior window. Things that didn’t work: dishwasher, hairdryer, shower leaks, sink leaks, and there is heavy wall damage throughout. Services in the description that were not actually provided: regular cleaning (they come by every couple days and fold your blanket and give towels, they do NOT clean the floors or give new toilet paper), there is no laundry despite it being advertised and the nearest lavarie is a 15 min uphill walk. They know this is a persistent issue because they have the lavarie address taped on the front counter and invite you to take a picture of it when you ask where the advertised laundry is. Things that worked: AC in one bedroom, sort of, but not the other. The nespresso. The kettle. The stove. The fridge. This is not a four star, despite the placard on the front. Heard multiple other guests complaining about similar issues with their rooms. At one point, heard the front desk telling a guest they “need to be resourceful and figure out solutions rather than complaining.” This would have been a passable 2 star hotel.

We checked in at 11.30pm and were out the next morning. The smell in the bathroom was disgusting and the hotel was aware as the drain had been removed. Expedia were extremely helpful and communicated with the hotel for us. The hotel staff were also lovely. We were refunded for the rest of the stay as the hotel acknowledged the issue and could not accommodate us in an equivalent room.

-Small for 5 people -Pictures online do not match what we had -pretty sure we had money stolen while we were out -coffee maker didn't match the type of coffee in the room which needed an instant espresso machine -asked to have room made up and it was barely touched -upon checking in we had no soap and had to ask for some -air conditioning was good -breakfast was fine

Great hotel and location!

Grande chambre avec un lit très spacieux. Petite cuisine très pratique et salle de bain bien aménagée. C’est un petit appartement situé près de la gare St-Lazare qui dessert tout Paris. À un coin de rue des grands magasins Le Printemps et Lafayette, mais sans tout le brouhaha. Je recommande fortement !

Choose anywhere else in Paris. From the moment of check in, a very poor experience. Arrived to the hotel around 2PM, and told we could not check in until 3. Waited in lobby until 3PM and told room was still not ready, as it was being cleaned. Finally checked in at 350PM. Upon entry of room, did not seem recently cleaned. Only 2 sets of towels for 4 people. The pullout bed was sagging in the middle and ready to collapse. The worst part was no air conditioning, despite indicating this amenity and the temperatures hovering between 35 and 40 degrees. 2 provided fans only moved hot air around the room. On the second day, we were relaxing in the afternoon and other guests entered our room. with valid keys. The front desk was unconcerned of their error, and took no responsibility for their “mistake”. During the entire stay (5 nights), the room was not made up once. We had to visit the front desk for towels every day, and was told service would occur the following day. Upon seeing recent reviews from others, this hotel should not be offered, or recommended, on Expedia’s website. Either another hotel, or private accommodation. would be a better option. Definitely would not return to the property.

location was great but AC didnt work the first day and all rooms lacked AC the first day. Was moved to a better room with a fane which wa bette. was moved again to another room following day . staff were all excellent both front desk nd breakfast room

No good air conditioning the 4 stars is like 2 no good refrigerator no good no close marketer to to buy water they don’t provide no water

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. During our entire stay, the room was never properly cleaned. Each day, the bed was simply made, but there was no real housekeeping service. The body wash dispenser was already empty when we checked in. We asked several times for it to be refilled, and each time we were told someone would come, but no one ever did. In the end, we had to buy our own body wash, and it still was not refilled by the time we checked out. To make things worse, our stay happened during the Paris heatwave, and one night the air conditioning stopped working. No one came to fix it, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. Overall, the service and maintenance were far below expectations. For the price and location, we expected much better. This was a very poor experience.

Nice and clean hotel in the heart of Paris. Friendly staff & service. Walking distance from many attractions. Supermarket around the corner, and metro four minutes away. Beautiful stay,

Breakfast not good

This was located in a great area close to shopping including printemps and galleries Lafayette. Also close to several key train lines for easy movement around the city.

Booked room with 2 beds was not provided upon check in . Had to wait 2 nights with several follow ups . After first night staff was kind enough to check for rooms with 2 beds , ask us to move on 6 th only to Find out the room has 1 bed also . Unfortunately we lost 2 shoes in the process of moving and unable to recover on their lost and found before we check out . We paid travel tax upon check in and was ask to pay again upon check out . We showed our receipt and the front desk staff insisted that we need to pay for our account is showing balance . I ask her to make a copy of receipt if she can’t find it on their system . Also explained to the staff that the amount paid on the receipt covered the 2 rooms we book, she then came back to us after a while without any explanation just said we are ok . Special thanks to staff of the breakfast room, they provided excellent service . Thank you for making our morning real good . Location of the hotel is very good .
