We LOVED this hotel. Excellent restaurant. Large comfy room. Pool area was lovely though we didn’t use it. I wish we would have stayed here our entire Athens stay.

Beautiful property, nice rooms. We had a view of the Acropolis from our small deck. Great breakfast, buy it when booking, that will be less expensive than buying it on site. Food and restaurant staff and pool staff were all friendly. Desk staff not so much. We had several contacts over our 3 day stay and found most of them a bit stiff and surly. Pool was ok, but not enough chairs or space around the pool. I would stay again due to proximity to sights and the beautiful property.

The front doorman Alex was extremely helpful upon our arrival and departure. He helped us with directions and where to find what we needed in close proximity to the hotel. He is kind, very friendly and professional. The front desk staff was not very helpful, upon check-in, they could not provide information on when the room would be ready. There would other travelers lying around on the couches sleeping. We spoke to other guests and they also could not get any information from the front desk staff.

If I could give the staff 6 stars I would! From the moment I walked in they were amazing; it’s very clear they love what they do. I started with a personal 2 day stay, then a 5 day work stay; they were able to combine trips so I didn’t need to move rooms (which was so helpful)! But on top of this, my flight home was abruptly cancelled, and Loucas was quick to help and allow me to pay for an extra night in my same room. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly, but I need to specifically shoutout Loucas and Christina - they went above and beyond. The restaurant was amazing, the pool area so nice, everywhere was very clean, the lobby very relaxing. When I come back to Athens I’ll be staying here again.

The hotel itself was beautiful and centrally located to the Acropolis and the Plaka District. The staff was exceptional, the Lobbie area, the pool the bar all beautifully maintained and comfortable for relaxing. The room I stayed in, however was not the greatest. The refrigerator didn’t work. The wallpaper on the walls were bubbling, the room had a overpowering perfume smell when we first arrived. I’m guessing to try to cover up any cigarette smell seeing that it is a smoking hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable. They were stained. They probably need to be replaced.

Good location near Acropolis with a wonderful rooftop bar & restaurant - but not a luxury hotel despite the price. The so-called acropolis view room required standing on the edge of a very hot balcony to see the fabled structure. Breakfast buffet a bit steep at 32 euros - all in for ‘American buffet’. In contrast the rooftop was delightful with excellent service and food. Administratively, be cautious. A ‘pay at the hotel booking’ on Expedia was disregarded by the hotel (they charged my entire stay several days prior to arrival) - and then cancelled the booking in Expedia! This caused needless concern and local colleagues had to intervene to confirm the status of my booking. The staff at reception neglected to request a deposit for incidentals so they wouldn’t deliver laundry until I went to reception to pay - after a strongly worded phone call they did what every other in the world does: deliver the laundry and then handle billing upon checkout. On the plus side, staff were dispatched quickly when there was a request. Mixed review. Positives are the staff, rooftop and responsiveness. Negatives stated above.

I can’t fault the location of the hotel at all, perfect for walking to all the major sites. The communal areas were lovely, well maintained and clean. The room we had was a little tired and rather dusty. There were a lot of long black hairs on the bathroom floor… There was quite a bit of noise from other rooms at night. Good selection of food for breakfast. The outdoor pool was absolutely freezing, my son only went in once and said he wouldn’t go in again!
