Their customer service goes above and beyond. Big shout out to Rohit - front desk and Pratik- Concierge services. They made my 2 night stay in July 2025 so great. Pratik went out of his way to ensure that I explored Mumbai’s best routes and attractions. Rohit was so welcoming. I will visit and stay with The Lalit again.

Great hospitality though the email they sent as a forum to fill up is totally useless as when I reached I still did not get a checkin early where they had asked for the time clearly. They had also asked for the preference of the pillow where I asked for cervical which was also not fulfilled.

Very disappointed with the customer service at The Lalit Mumbai. Multiple calls and emails to the meeting room booking team went unanswered. During my stay, housekeeping had to be chased repeatedly. I was also ignored when requesting a coffee in the lobby until I complained to the Lobby Manager, who was helpful and resolved the issue. He promised a management follow-up, which never happened.Extremely poor service for a so-called five-star hotel.

I recently stayed at the Lalit in Mumbai expecting a premium 5-star experience, but what I encountered was genuinely shocking. I’ve had better experiences in budget hotels — this stay was disappointing on every level. 1) Dry Cleaning Disaster. I gave a white Jacket of Columbia company from the name of the company you can imagine how heavy on the pocket it usually is, So I gave the jacket/sweater for dry cleaning, and it was returned with dark/black patches and stains that were definitely not there before. Instead of accepting responsibility, the hotel staff had no proper explanation or solution. It’s completely unacceptable from a hotel that claim to be “luxury” 2) Item Stolen from Room. To make matter worse my sunglasses and perfume went missing from my room. These were kept among my personal belongings and I am 100% sure that they were there before housekeeping visit. This raises serious concern about the hotel’s security and professionalism. 3) Inhuman check out experience. Just to put a cherry on top. We kindly requested an additional 15 minutes for checkout because my mother was unwell with stomach upset and loose motions. Despite informing the front desk, the staff kept calling repeatedly and even sent staff members to collect luggage from the room— essentially forcing us out. The lack of empathy and hospitality in so called 5 star hotel was shocking.

This property was very old and there was a cockroach in our bathroom. The vicinity while near the airport was a slum area. The staff were pleasant enough but Arjun from housekeeping was especially helpful in packing and shipping to me in Delhi some items that were left behind after checkout. Overall not entirely unpleasant however I would not stay at this LaLit in the future.

horrible, no water to bathe as VOLTAGE FLUCTUATED??? Showere handle broke it's s crippling property. No one at the desk to take complain as duty manager comes at 9am, I left without shower without breakfast, REFUSED to refund horrible behavious and crippling property I will not recommend anyone to go there.
