I LOVED it here!! Was truly perfect for my 5 day stay. It was cozy, comfortable, and I have zero complaints. Martina was also the sweetest!! I’d absolutely stay here again.

A very useful base for a concert at the Aviva stadium in a quiet residential area. A straightforward 25 minute walk in a safe area. It is a trek from the city centre but the bus was easy to get and very handy as stops at the top of the road. It’s also on the direct bus route to Dun Laoghaire - a lovely little seaside town where I spent the following day. There’s also some restaurants/bars and a Tesco on the main road where bus drops off by the accommodation.
The accommodation provided easy come and go access with a door code. My room was through the conservatory and backed onto the “garden” which was nice. The room felt very cosy and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept on!
The shower could have done with modernising but everywhere was clean, which is the main thing.

Room was lovely and clean, just the right amount of room for two people. The staff lady we met as we were leaving was very friendly and had a good chat with us! We enjoyed our stay at Donnybrook Hall.
Great local amenities nearby, would highly recommend the Donnybrook Fair down the road, their açai bowls were delicious.
Very good connections for public transport and easy to get into the city too.
The only downsides we had about our stay was that it was very noisy outside on the road each morning. Although the area seemed rather quiet, after having a long day, the noise of traffic woke us up very early - but understand that’s nothing that can be really helped!
Would also be nice if the rooms could accommodate a mini-fridge of some sorts. Our drinks would become warm very quickly in the July hot weather, and felt like we had to go out to the shops every time we wanted something fresh to drink.
But overall, we had a wonderful time, and would definitely look at staying here again if we ever return to Dublin!

The room felt quite luxurious, decorated in a really pretty way with smart wallpaper, a warm cosy feeling - lovely comfy bed, full length mirror, little touches like loo roll folded over into a point and tea and coffee refreshed daily. It was also all really clean and well kept and very quiet. The powerful shower had a waterfall shower as well as a regular one.
It is in a quiet and quite well off neighbourhood, with 2 Tesco extras, Donnybrook Fair luxury food shop (great for buying a cheap daily sandwich on the way in to town), place for a full Irish breakfast or a trendy hipster cafe, and a pub all within 4 minutes walking distance. There are more than 3 buses into town from bus stop 2 minutes away - takes around 15 - 20 minutes.
I didn't meet the owner but the cleaner was really sweet and kind. There is a lounge where you can eat a takeaway meal which saved on costs. I had a pizza from a restaurant 5 minutes away.
I highly recommend it, its also (incredibly) cheaper than some of the mass market/ soulless type hotels in the centre. I would stay here again if I visited Dublin in the future.
